Refs after “reviewing” the game winning goal: ‘call on the ice stands, good goal’. Don’t the fans deserve to know what you were reviewing? Joke of a league. Trying to find a something out of nothing. Oilers 1 - NHL 0
They have to review all OT playoff goals.

I think it's protocol to automatically review all OT goals in the playoffs.

Edit: got beat to it.

The NHL reviews every playoff OT goal. Been that way for 4 years now.

I still don’t understand why Quinn Hughes had the same shit happened to him yet. They never reviewed it.

But Dallas did and they did
And most incredibly, it is the same two referees. Sutherland/Furlatt also ref'ed Game 2 of the Van/Edm series. Hence no excuse for inconsistencies.

It should be common knowledge by now they review ALL overtime goals... No?

Youd think, but also who cares? I dont get the complaining behind this. Its not stopping the flow of the game or anything else. Fans would have a legit complaint to make if the coaches couldnt challenge a missed play that resulted in the OT goal, this eliminates that.

SN needs to know the audience now that we are the only Canadian team left.
Maybe they want to steal the viewership from TNT so focusing more on Stars and brining in their old coach.

No idea how they're still reffing tbh. Sutherland is just straight bad. League needs to really look at investing at better programs to bring in better refs. Sick of this "game is to fast" excuse.

Eh, close game. Calls went in the favour of dallas majorly. 5-1 in powerplays for them, 2 lucks goals for dallas, 1 for oilers. All in all more of a close game with bad officiating.
A couple weak calls against Oilers sure but 5-1 has more to do with Dallas sacrificing aggressiveness for not giving edmonton PP than biased reffing.

There were some stick on gloves and clutches they could've called against Dallas to even it up a bit but there really wasn't anything major from Dallas that was an automatic penalty
