It’s still Corey Perry until he retires
They have to review all OT playoff goals.Refs after “reviewing” the game winning goal: ‘call on the ice stands, good goal’. Don’t the fans deserve to know what you were reviewing? Joke of a league. Trying to find a something out of nothing. Oilers 1 - NHL 0

They were the slightly better team in regulation. Stars were better in OT1, imo (having a 4 minute PP helped but I digress). Oettinger made a few 10 bell saves along the way though.Just watched video recap at nhl.com and according to them it was all Oilers. Is that really true?

And most incredibly, it is the same two referees. Sutherland/Furlatt also ref'ed Game 2 of the Van/Edm series. Hence no excuse for inconsistencies.I still don’t understand why Quinn Hughes had the same shit happened to him yet. They never reviewed it.
But Dallas did and they did
Not sure about all Oilers. But they were the better 5v5 team.Just watched video recap at nhl.com and according to them it was all Oilers. Is that really true?
My bad, I wasn’t aware of that. I own that mistake.![]()
The NHL reviews every playoff OT goal. Been that way for 4 years now.

For all the talk about Edmonton’s stars getting tired I feel like not enough people are talking about Dallas basically playing 5D for two rounds straight. How is the best player on the planet left that open. Just wow.
Youd think, but also who cares? I dont get the complaining behind this. Its not stopping the flow of the game or anything else. Fans would have a legit complaint to make if the coaches couldnt challenge a missed play that resulted in the OT goal, this eliminates that.It should be common knowledge by now they review ALL overtime goals... No?
Eh, close game. Calls went in the favour of dallas majorly. 5-1 in powerplays for them, 2 lucks goals for dallas, 1 for oilers. All in all more of a close game with bad officiating.Just watched video recap at nhl.com and according to them it was all Oilers. Is that really true?
No idea how they're still reffing tbh. Sutherland is just straight bad. League needs to really look at investing at better programs to bring in better refs. Sick of this "game is to fast" excuse. And most incredibly, it is the same two referees. Sutherland/Furlatt also ref'ed Game 2 of the Van/Edm series. Hence no excuse for inconsistencies.
Fast game? How is the best player on the planet left that open. Just wow.
A couple weak calls against Oilers sure but 5-1 has more to do with Dallas sacrificing aggressiveness for not giving edmonton PP than biased reffing.Eh, close game.
