Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. 3rd straight series Dallas drops game 1. We saw how the first two series ended up.

The hockey gods apparently don't want the Stars to win series opening games with Robertson hitting the post twice in short succession in OT.
Oilers definitely showed how they've matured these past couple seasons with how they've been defending better these playoffs, save for the 3rd period in game 1 in Vancouver. If they keep it up and can compliment that with Connor and Leon they without a doubt have what it takes to win the cup. But Dallas has responded in each series after losing the opening game, and even the first 2 against Vegas.

Its only one game and the Stars have been in this situation before....and worse with Vegas down 2-0 at home....I wouldn't get to cocky if I was the Oilers....we are just beginning this series.....however if nothing else, this is a huge confidence builder for Edmonton....to show that just perhaps they can play with an elite team......

I think the Oilers are enjoying their underdog status. Look how good they did at the start of the year after they were ranked 31st and everyone counted them out. The fact 80% of analysts think Dallas will win this series bodes well for them because it creates a "Us vs Them" mentality.

Hmm, this is the problem with speaking in absolutes.. The stars could sweep the next 4, but considering how this game went, it was never going to be easy whoever they faced. The Canadian in me throws up my pride for edm, the vancouver in me though still says f*** you Oilers haha! GG onto game 2
