People are right, get every second of sleep you can and do it NOW!

Baby's keep you up and it doesn't ever end. You are going to lay in bed listening to them breathe (got to make sure they are breathing right) all night every night for the first several months and then its their turn to keep you up and of course they keep their own schedule and want to see dad whenever they can and you are going to want to see them just as much so sleep gets ditched for that and it just keeps going.

Dragazz is what new dads live with for the first year for certain. Sleep now because your going to need it. Oh and if you think you are jacked now just wait until the high that you get when you watch your kid get born. Nothing beats that or even comes close.

I love hockey and a bunch of other parts of my life but my kids, man nothing comes close. Family is the best thing in life imo.

As bad as Quick was to start the game, he made some HUGE stops in the 2nd, 3rd and OT periods. They were critical, they were timely, and they were numerous. The team got him back in the game, and he came through for them when it mattered. The ups and downs vs. Chicago can be left behind in the past, its a fresh series.

Brown has been Brown. Rec you have championed him for certain. I haven't bagged on him because I see him for what he has been and will always be. He is a hard hitting grinding player who also pops in 20 goals or more per season. He is the kind of player ever team covets. He had an off year scoring but he picked it up throughout the season and has been great throughout the playoffs too.

Brown is Brown and our captain.

How I really wanted to win in 5, so I could call them ALL out.

Well, anyway, we are on the way.

P.S. Another reason why I'm glad ESPN no longer has the TV contract. They just plain suck.

The Dad gig is great and grandpa is even better.

Skyped with my three yr. old grandson this morning in Ohio. He was sporting his #11 jersey with pride. Going to make sure he wears every game day from now on.

It's simply looking at his stats from every season and realizing this season was an anomaly. Every player is bound to have one. SO happy he's kicking ass again!

Yep.

I mean he had 18 goals during the shortened season. Guy was on pace for another 24+ goal season if they had played them all and that was last season. This past season was a big one in his personal life and he had a few injuries but still kept working hard and look where he is today.

You got it right on DB and when you aren't making us laugh have a good hockey noodle on your shoulders.
 
Pierre LeBrun generally picks us to win series', I don't begrudge him favouring Chicago over us in 7 games. Hell, turned out he was wrong by 1 goal.

well, his knee was bad last year and he wore a brace..it takes awhile to get strength back and rehabbed. He had 2 assists tonight, 3 hits and 8 shots! Was skating well and
making things happen.
