The others are the 1939 Bruins (Mel Hill), 1950 Red Wings (Leo Reise, Jr.), 1968 Blues (Ron Schock), 1979 Canadiens (Yvon Lambert) and 1994 Rangers (Stephane Matteau). Justin Williams' stats should also be mentioned - record for most game 7 points and I think game 7 goals in history - HISTORY . . .

The Stanley Cup championship cup has been around since 1892!!! This trophy, this sport, these records are NO joke folks. This team is beyond special . . .

"Goober" is a good description.

Also, "ass-clown" comes to mind. What is he attempting to do? Show "solidarity" with all BH fans by wearing the colors after the Kings mowed them down the day before?

Ahh yes. Mike Donnelly score the go ahead go with just over 3 minutes left and then Gretzky banking that 5th goal off Dave Ellett's skate about 30 seconds later.

Could have been Gretzky's greatest ever game as a King.

I was in high school back then but remember it like it was yesterday.
 
DD said he got called in the coaches office during the intermission because he was upset that he was playing poorly( he was a -2 through 2 periods) and they told him to calm down and play his game cos they need him. Good move by the coaching staff

The older he gets, the better he will get at controlling his emotions. I love the fact that he cares so damn much. I wish we could clone him.

Love Drew for many reasons. His emotion is one of the biggest. God this guy is too damn good.

I read that thread at the beginning of the last series. It was started in the last offseason but carried over into the playoffs this year. It is kinda humorous reading again. Counting chickens that aren't hatched and all. Some real pie in the sky theories there "I set the line at 6.5 cups".
