Prob been mentioned, but so glad Chicago has to play st Louis before us for the next half decade or so! Bodes well.

It's been a tremendous night. Enjoy it and soak it all in ladies and gents.

If I was in LA, I would be making a b-line for LAX. Give those boys a wicked home coming!

Lots of fun reading posts during tonight's game and afterward and looking forward to continuing it in the SC Finals!!

:yo::wave::towel:

I'm out.

Yep.

I mean he had 18 goals during the shortened season. Guy was on pace for another 24+ goal season if they had played them all and that was last season. This past season was a big one in his personal life and he had a few injuries but still kept working hard and look where he is today.

You got it right on DB and when you aren't making us laugh have a good hockey noodle on your shoulders.

Yeah, his lockout season was so good. Bunch of kids, an injury, the Kings going through long droughts - show me one player that could cope with all of that while producing and hitting. Not many.

8 out 12 so-called experts picked the Hawks in this series.

3 of the clowns picked the Hawks in six.

How I really wanted to win in 5, so I could call them ALL out.

Well, anyway, we are on the way.

P.S. Another reason why I'm glad ESPN no longer has the TV contract. They just plain suck.

To be fair, if they had the TV contract, they would have more than just one semi-legit analyst (Melrose).

I can't believe how clutch Gaborik has been for us. We don't make it anywhere near the Stanley Cup Finals without him. Guy is just on another level. Can't think of a deadline deal that has made such a big impact in recent memory.

I'd like to point out my Western Conference bracket was almost perfect... I just had Colorado losing to Chicago instead of Minnesota. :)

So 3 series going 7 games and a couple of OT's and last one against the hawks coming from behind 3 times being down 2 nothing to start.

I wonder if people or other fans do think the Kings deserve to be where they are this time? No adversity? Huh! my freaking ass.

Ohh! Wait a minute. Being down in the first two series facing elimination.

This team is unbelievable.

long time hawks' fan here...i mean long time.

congratulations to the kings and their fans on a beautifully played series.

not much chippiness or harsh words in the press. not much pushing or shoving after whistles. nothing but respect from each team and their coaches in the press and on the ice.

this comes from a guy who likes a good fist fight as much as anyone.

this is the way the game was meant to be played. gutted my team lost but proud we were a part of it.

that being said....still rooting for the rangers in the final. (would you expect anything else?)

Our GDT right after it was 2-0...

That's probably the season...
This game is over boys.
See you next year.
Doesn't shock me one bit. See you on October.
I hope the golf clubs are polished...
Who didn't see this coming? Like honestly, so many people acted like it was blasphemy to say this series was over after game six.

You should all be ashamed.

This Kings run is going to validate all the defying the odds sports cliches for the next 20 years.

A lot of players on our team had some beef with Chicago before arriving to the Kings. I'd have to imagine for Carter, Richards, and Mitchell this is a huge weight off their backs.

We were the better team tonight, and we got the last bounce. Also, it was critical to stay out of the box in the third period.

Some of the penalties we got in this game were absolute ********* calls, would have been an extra layer of depressing to lose on a GWG scored on a powerplay.

Be glad I stopped watching. Every win against the Blackhawks involved me missing games.:laugh:
