Pia tweeted that she was in a wedding tonight. I don't want to go look for it, but it's there.
 
Just got back from the game.
Man what a great game! The pace of the game was awesome. The energy were a lot better than the Ducks series. There were tons of Hawks fans at the game. A few times the Hawks fans were chanting but quickly got out chanted by us Kings fans.
Toews was good, but hockey is a team game, and on game 3 LA was a better team.
That 70's line is flying. The kids are great! I didn't know Pearson is such a great passer. His vision and hockey IQ is above his year. Hopefully, they can help us win a couple more.

BTW, Chicago fought back and they didn't give up, they fought to the last few seconds. Game 4 will be another intense game and the Kings better be ready or Chicago will steam roll them.

A Note for DS. Please don't have Justin Williams out there playing the point in a Power Play. Williams almost kill us tonight in the 1st with his horrible passes and turn overs.
 
I forgot to eat a blueberry turnover for Game 1. I didn't forget to eat one for Games 2 and 3. You're welcome, Kings. And I'm sorry, body.

I will just tell a little story.

So I got this huge Hawks fan at my firm who has been flapping his gums all playoff's about "I want the Hawks/Kings again in the WCF, easy for the hawks" I have to listen to this garbage all leading up to the WCF.

Well today we both worked a late one (closing some accountants out) watched the game on a stream in the office (boss is cool). Lets just say he was pretty sheepish after the loss.

I leaned over to him on the couch and said real silent like "Careful what you wish for"....

If anything the Kings have given those SMUG Hawks fan's some pause.

Jeff Carter is killing Michael Handzus, it's a massacre.
 
With the addition of Gaborik, and the emergence of Toffoli & Pearson, I think it's fair to say the Kings have the deepest forward group in the NHL right now.

Also, Crawford is showing himself to be the mediocre goalie that he really is. That 6M per year contract is going to come back and bite them.

Quenville put Toews against Carter towards the end of the game. Wonder if he'll go with that in game 5 in chicago....might see Kopi's line light up if that happens.

Quenville has made some mistakes out of the box, Putting Handzus with Kane is just killing his second line. Wonder if that stay's the same.

Last year that was fine cause Kopitar was just really not playing well. This year it's a no go for the Hawks. Kopitar is going to kill any center the Hawks have (not named Toews).

Handzus is killing Chicago out there, Kane is dragging two line-mates. Lets Hope Q is stupid enough to keep Kane with dead line-mates.

The Last thing the Kings need, is Patrick Kane getting hot.
 
Kopitar negating Toews instantly puts the Kings on the offensive. The Hawks can't compete with Carter - Stoll - Richards.

Re. how Carter chose his number 77, Jarret Stoll had a nice story about how he chose the number 28, having to do with his grandfather, their birth years, and their close relationship. Sometimes there's a story behind it...
