But, but, but.......

Scott Burnside picked the Coyotes to win the CUP THIS SEASON!!!1!!11!

Haha, they truly have the most hatred for us. More than Vancouver, Anaheim, San Jose, New Jersey, Rangers, Lumbus, ect. They are like that quiet loser with no friends who you didn't even know existed who has an obsession with you.

If we get by the Hawks, we would love to embarrass the smurfs for you guys and get revenge for 93. Too bad the Rags are going to beat us to it.

Honestly, beating either of those teams would be fun for me to watch. It's been awesome seeing Toffoli do as well as he has. Got to see him play against Providence a bunch.

I can't stand those *******s either. The fact that Burnside completely missed the boat on them just goes to show how much of a moron he is.

He mentioned in his Twitter that the Kings and Rangers can take solace in his picks of the Blackhawks and Canadiens to win their respective series because he always seems to get it wrong.

No ****, dip stick. No ****.

Unreal. Kings have the top 3 scorers now: Kopi 20 pts, Carter 19, Gaborik 16.
Top 2 goal scorers: Gaborik 9 and Carter tied with Toews with 8. Tanner Pearson,
#1 in plus minus! With +9. Kopi #1 in assists

1. Jeff Carter is a better C than RW and should be a C for as long as he is here. This debate should be put to rest forever.

2. Marian Gaborik and Tanner Pearson have been massive difference makers on the wing. If the Kings have Gaborik and Pearson last year I think they could have won the series with Chicago.

3. You can win with young players in important roles. Seems silly now but people (including our coach) were not comfortable with That 70's Line as a unit to start the playoffs.

4. Tyler Toffoli is going to score a lot of goals in this league, he just has that sixth sense to find space in the offensive zone.

I totally agree with all of your points, but I think we can push this further: you almost HAVE to have young players stepping up and playing important roles to win. It seems like every year, the teams the do the best are the ones who start with a good squad but then get an extra push from young guys.

It was WAY too late (80+ minutes too late), but Quenneville did move Toews to match up with Carter late in the game. He obviously put Toews out to neutralize Kopitar given how on fire Kopitar was in the first two series, but it's fairly obvious the Hawks are WAY too exposed with the Handzus/Carter assignment.

It'll be interesting to see if Kopitar gets on the scoreboard in game 3.

Gold!

OK Kings fans. Devils fan coming in peace. We've been through some rough times you and I. I've even rooted for your team's demise on multiple occasions. However, it looks like more and more each day that the cup final will be Kings/Rangers.

I think you know where this is going.

We might not get along but I'll be damned if I sit back and watch the Rangers win a cup. If it comes to that point - I want on the bandwagon. But if it's Montreal/LA then LOLVIALAMONTREAL! These are the terms.

The Creepers run deep on this board.... :naughty:

Find any good ones yet?
Detroit seems to be pulling for the Kings

Really? Some doofus asked Carter that?

You wonder how some of these guys still have a job.

Yup.

The Oliers board has a lot of in-depth and intelligent discussion about us. Best board to read, IMO. Sadly the six Coyote fans stopped posting so I can't go there for baby tears anymore.

They just ***** and moan in the GDT now.

Honesty rules.

I also might add, Clifford was pretty effective out there with his hitting and speed. He drew that penalty that led to Doughty's goal. I'm a bit worried about Dustin Brown, he looks pretty snakebitten out there. As long as he keeps up the hitting though...

All of this right here.

As for the game, I have four seats total but one of my friends who uses one of them couldn't go so we sold his and one of my extras for a mint. Nothing like going to the game and sitting next to a Hawks fan who dropped $340 into my pocket for upper-bowl tickets for him and his girlfriend while I continually get to stand up and celebrate goals in their face.

I spaced on the start time though and was still on the train when the puck dropped and was all surprised when my friend got the alert on his phone. He was surprised too so we are a couple of idiots. "We need to leave Long Beach on the train by 4:45 at the latest" is what I said and I received no pushback from my friend. Geniuses. Good thing for the Gamecenter app or whatever it is as we watched the first five minutes or so on the train.

If you are going to Staples, do not walk against the hand in front of a cop as my friend almost got a jaywalking ticket as we were rushing to get in the building. Cop hassled him and ran him through the system to see if he had any priors or warrants. Way to keep the city safe, boys. No cars coming, light still green and just a guy late for Game 3 of the WCFs trying to get into the building. Bush league.

Clifford's been great throughout the entire playoffs.

Isn't it funny how Hawks fans are accusing the Kings of deliberately taking penalties to exploit their rotten power play???

Ah...the great Kompon strikes again...

Pearson has 10 points and leads the entire NHL with a plus 9 in the playoffs! King has done nothing. Only Clifford had less icetime than Pearson last night. Hard to believe Tanner has 10 points, while averaging 10 minutes a game and no PP time.

Still can't believe King is getting more ice time than Pearson.

70 T. Pearson L 10:40
73 T. Toffoli C 12:53
74 D. King L 13:34
77 J. Carter C 17:52

Pearson's 10 even strength points are in the top 10 of the entire playoffs for(ESP) even strength points! Everyone on that list, is averaging over 15 minutes of icetime a game, except Pearson, who is averaging only 10:55. That's incredible.

EVEN STRENGTH POINTS leaders:

KOPITAR 14
CARTER 12
MALKIN 12
PARISE 11
HOSSA 11
WILLIAMS 11
TOEWS 11
ELLER 11
PEARSON 10
GABORIK 9
GETZLAF 9
TOFFOL1 9
JOKINEN 9
KANE 8
