Had Binner not been run by Kadri, Blues likely take that series. Thats what a hot goaltender can do in the NHL playoffs.

Avs have faced NHL goaltending for 2 games this entire postseason. Whoever comes out of the East will have a massive advantage in that department.

Avs swept Binnington and the Blues last season already.

He wasn't going to steal you a series this year when the Avs have a much deeper team. Go back to crying on your board about what ifs.

Colorado is just better. Much better. It's wild how many dangerous chances they create. Makar is like a modern-day Bobby Orr. I've never seen anything like him and this is coming from someone who watches McDavid on a regular basis. Kane might be gone for the rest of the playoffs as well so if Edmonton were to somehow win, this would be the comeback of the century. Won't happen though of course and it looks like this one might be a sweep.

Going off the analytics the oilers 5 on 5 out chanced the avs 13-3 controlled shot attempts 60%-40% expected goals 2.21-1.44. This game was close and 100% the Avs won on bounces. That’s hockey.

Lol at bragging about sweeping a roster with multiple AHL guys on it. Congrats!

Blues easily could’ve won the series if Binny didn’t get knocked out. Only a homer Avs fan would disagree.

Honestly I'm not as disappointed as I thought I would be.

In January we were out of a playoff position, now we're playing in the WCF against the best team in the league. Games 1 and especially 3 were close, but the Avs are clearly the better team.

I mean we beat the Flames in 5 games. Everyone's now acting like they were pretenders, but going into the playoffs most posters on here had them as a top-5 playoff contender.

This is by no means a failed season.

You’re as delusional as the Oilers guy who says they could “easily” be up 2-1 in this series.

Binnington wasn’t going to help your no show “depth” that you were bragging about before the series started.
