At least that explains that 3rd goal. The stick in the eye must've done more damage than he thought.

I mean, if the Oilers lead 6-5 with 7 minutes to go, the Avs push. Or they push earlier to extend the lead. It doesn't dictate the game but influences it and the outcome.A goal scored in the middle of a game doesn't dictate the rest of the game.
No one can tell what would/wouldn't dictate the outcome of a game. if this was the game winning goal than sure. I can understand the passion over not understanding the rule. But this was literally in the middle of a gameI mean, if the Oilers lead 6-5 with 7 minutes to go, the Avs push. Or they push earlier to extend the lead. Uhm I think we are actually on the same page.No one can tell what would/wouldn't dictate the outcome of a game. if this was the game winning goal than sure. I can understand the passion over not understanding the rule. But this was literally in the middle of a game
It's late... , or early for you I assume. but yes it does appear we are agreeingUhm I think we are actually on the same page.
That was what I was saying in my first post. There is absolutely no guarantee, this game is 6-5 oilers if this goal is not scored.

I hope not. Being a fan of one team involved and watching this pond-hockey over the course of the whole series will be too much to handle, trust me. Same story on the other side with Edmonton-Fans who feels the same way....Man this series is going to be a total shootout
I would wager we will see Kuemper againI don´t think it´s the stick in the eye from the 1st round. If so, these problems/blurry visions would´ve occured against the Blues and much sooner than tonight.....This, or Kuemper really played through it against 6 games (i doubt it, to be honest).
There is something else to this. And i really hope nothing serious.
Anyway, it´s Frankys net now.

2.89 at 5v5, 4.06 in all situations. Avs deserved this game, but not by much.I mean, they had an expected goals of just 2.89
But yes Jack Johnson did play and was directly responsible for at least 2 Oilers goals. Hopefully he is not in the lineup for game 2.
Would he have trouble handling the puck with hairy palms?I don´t think it´s the stick in the eye from the 1st round. But will he see us?I would wager we will see Kuemper again
As someone who is in the eye healthcare business...it's totally possible that this is from the stick in the first round. Sometimes the cornea gets like a mini fracture, which will result in a real fracture (water gets into the cornea, results in blurry vision) later on, which appears to be coming out of nowhere.I don´t think it´s the stick in the eye from the 1st round. If so, these problems/blurry visions would´ve occured against the Blues and much sooner than tonight.....This, or Kuemper really played through it for 6 games (i doubt it, to be honest).
Calling for goalie meltdown and ending up with 14 goals... Now that's a fantastic call!Likely we see a meltdown on each side
