The Avs have only lost 2 games in the playoffs LMAO. The Avs were actually a top 2 team all season, not excluding 2 month.

The only losses that matter are the ones in the series you are in. Just like I couldn't care less about the 8 wins both teams have right now...

As Kenny said, there'll be time enough for countin', when the dealin's done. :)

This may sound dumb to most hockey fans due to the season the Avs had but Oilers will take this in 5. We have the better team offensively. Defence is a wash and if you look at the goaltending of both teams in the last series', neither has an edge. Connor and Leon are playing better than anyone and don't see them slowing down. Sure we played LA and it took 7 games. Oilers didn't show up for a couple games. Calgary was suppose to smother us with their amazing defensive structure and goaltender...didn't happen. Mackinnon will get less than 5 points vs Oil, Drai with 10-15 points this series. Welcome to Edmonton, TBL.

Sounds like it should be an easy matchup and series for Edmonton.

Neither team has a capable goalie at this point. Both teams should try to outscore the other rather than play for 1-0 games.

Colorado has more talent and speed by far but Edmonton does have Draisaitl and McDavid...

you're Oilers have 4.33 goals per game and 3.08 goals against vs the Avs 4.30 GPG and 2.70 GA, in what world can't the haves match?
Oilers were playing against a past and current Vezina nominee. Avs needed to injure Binnington to move on. It's the playoffs and I understand sometimes you need to play dirty to have success when desperate like the Avs were.

Is McDonald's still a sponsor? Like seriously.....with MacKinnon and McDavid, they need like a McMac!

Make it a Big Mac style but with 1/4lb patties 😋

If they are, like, f***.....they should have had it ready to go! LOL

Well in that case, i guess the avs are lucky since its just mike smith in net...

They’ve been out scoring their poor goaltending and are now facing the highest scoring team in the playoffs.
The difference in goalscoring between the two teams is a whopping 0.03

How is Edmonton going to deal with the Avs offence then?

In what world are the defences a wash?

Selfishly I picked Avs in 7 because as a hockey fan I want 7 games with these two teams. I think the Avs actually win in 5-6.

The only thing that you said that sounded dumb was this (Defense is a wash)...I agree that McDavid and Draisaitl are exceptional on offense but Mac and Rantanen are no slouches and I think the Avs have a huge advantage on the blueline. Mike Smith has been great in most games but had a few bad ones. Kuemper has been steady the whole way through. The oilers might have the best two players in the series (just like every series) but they aren't the better team.

Doesn't mean f*** all if you let in more goals because you allow a lot more high danger chances.
Oilers are a high event team and Kuemper hasn’t been good flat out. If you don’t have goaltending your going to have to outscore our big guns and so far no one is in the ball park of doing so.
