For a guy who supposedly begged to be in the line-up for the pre-tournament game Perry sure seems to just be out there for a lazy Sunday skate today. I would have expected a little more effort or energy from him.

He look like that every WCH he is on. Maybe big ice isn't just suited for him.

Hanifin, and he's one of the best skaters on the ice for either team.

Unfortunately, when a puck is picked off and the other team is coming at you with a full head of steam while you have to change direction, it will not look very good for even the greatest of skaters.

Yes I agree it was a tough play for him but it just looked like he put in zero effort to skate or even defend at all.

I was also surprised to hear it was Hanifin as I didn't expect that from him.

I am not really sure why Kinkaid is getting so much hate. The Americans have been thoroughly dominated in front of him. It isn't likely that the score is much different with a different goalie in net.

The skaters have been just as much a problem if not more than he has.

He has allowed 2 horrendous goals and a couple other goals he was off his angle. With a better goalie the score would absolutely be closer

Matthews is invisible so far.

I wouldn't agree with that, I've been watching closely and he had an ok 1st period got more comfortable as the game went on, he was effective in the 2nd period I'd say him and Larkin where the best US players in the 2nd and he was hot and cold in the 3rd.

He was utilized in many areas this game, took a ton a of important faceoffs and did very well. He was used on the power play and made a few nice plays was used on the PK.

The whole US team has been kinda bad against the US, the line ups aren't close to be honest Canada has many NHL players the US not so much.

Anyways Larkin has been the best US player all game, but Matthews has been pretty good in my opinion
