Just watched the pvr of Canada-US. What a frickin joke TSN is. Would they even broadcast this tournament if Matthews wasn't in it?

They even came up with a highlight package of Matthews game (I mean a lowlight package). Their summarization of the Canada 5-1 win was to say that "Austin Matthews can do it all". Except...that he didn't? They lost 5-1?

If that's the kind of doing it all results he'll be bringing to the Leafs, I'm 100% onboard with that. Kinda reminds of the Taylor Hall story. Man is the bar set low in Toronto.

Oh, and Rod Black? You're............still alive. Sort of?

Why is TSN.ca always shoving Austin Mathews down our throats?

I have no doubt if the Coyotes or Blue Jackets or even the Flames won the draft TSN wouldn't be hyping him up. They are really pushing it when it comes to him.

How Colorado let O'Reilly go is beyond me but so glad for it being a Sabres fan. I don't think there are any 'complete player' types who are better than ROR.

No way is he left off Canada's World Cup team.

Avs fans have said this for years and everyone called him overrated. Moves to the east and now they flip. I hope Duchene doesn't get traded because he'll have a similar fate if he does.

well for a pending UFA your team got a lot out of Buffalo, Zadorov will be a monster, if he doesn't he'll still be a decent player, Compher should be a useful player and Grigorenko - I had written him off, seems to have shown some progress this year.

But even if Zads turns into a star I still am happy for the trade, you just don't get ROR's often unless you draft one.

If Russia finishes 3 or 4 in their pool do they travel to Petersburg for their quarter final? Or does the 1st or 2nd place team in Petersburg have to go to them in Moscow? I was under the understanding that 1st and 2nd in Petersburg stay there for their quarter final.
