GDT: WC QF Sweden vs Canada

Having a different opinion with someone dossn't mean you or anyone should act like that. I disagree with him as well, but doesn't mean I'm getting personal here. Its just hockey.

I get your point, but you should astop policing what people write here..
I barely spend any time here aside of international tournaments. I really don't want to be or I am not any kind of police.

If I see one bad comment here and I want to say I don't agree with it. I don't go and look for meaaages to comment on. Far from a police

I'll stop "policing".

Nylander! Nice goal by Klinger too. Wallmark?

Canada looks better than they get credit for, don't let them have sustained offensive zone time in second period. Might turn ugly.

Why play OEL on the boards in PP2? Play him at point or not at all ffs. Ridiculous. I.e. pick two of Dahlin, Gustafsson, OEL. All of them is the worst option.

Yeah, good first third. Good luck that Nylander was in the escape, if it was Wallmark or Nordström, I don't think it would be 2-0.

Now Garpen and his team have to do one thing, calm down all the hot heads, especially Adam Larsson and Dahlin sometimes can't concentrate on the game. He repays and weakens the team regularly. Too bad the bullet next door, Wallmark was inconsistent and badly fired. The game plan is based, a quick goal always helps and the Swedes have excellent movement in the offensive zone, where Canada does not know what to do. On the contrary, I defend the defenders very well in front of Ullmark.

If Canada loses a few or three goals in a few minutes, I'm afraid they'll do something dirty.

Sweden makes Canada look bad, if Sweden wins this tournament, i'll be the first one to congratulate. That's something what couple of Swedes here could never do if Finland wins, we've seen that already.

If Finland wins "Bbbut 2006, Fffinland didn't deserve". I hope that these two muppets have learned to be men and admit things. May the best team win (obviously Canada can still come back but Sweden is impressive so i doubt it)

I'm too lazy to dig for posts but I remember plenty of Swedes congratulating Finland here two years ago.

Yeah but there are two very active individuals here who go into low self-esteem mode after Finland wins any major tournament and storm into Finland threads to explain why Sweden actually is better and use excuses starting from preliminary games why Finland didn't deserve to win.

Most of the Swedes here (and in general) are very good losers and stand up guys.

Goddammit I missed the 1st period, these weird game starts. I see we're up 2-0, that's very nice to see. Nordström setting up the breakaway for Nylander by blocking the shot is probably the only way he'll get an assist this tournament.

Going to miss the second but catch the third.

I never ever in my life thought I'd find myself rooting for Sweden, but for some reason I seem to do.

I feel like there's a small army of Swedes doing that.

Can't blame the Canadians, they have been shooting at every possible situation at this period.

Seems the refs missed a 2+2 high sticking call on a Swedish player, they got away with a big one there. It happened out of play and I didn't see it, so I can see how it was missed. Update: it was friendly fire, good non call by the refs then.
