Ovechkin displayed no skill on that goal.

Afinogenov just made a good individual surge.

I like Russia usually... but am very concerned with the lack of unified team play, not enough chemistry or passing.

I've counted five times the Russians have dumped the puck into the Austrian zone. At least two of them, of course, while killing a penalty now of course.

They are playing like it's keepaway, hogging the puck and trying to do it all themselves.

Shoot even Kovalev opted to surge by himself rather than pass.

Do they think the Austrians can't check them?

Give Austria credit for making the large ice surface look smaller, taking away many of these individual attempts.
