As predicted, Datsyuk is a one-man wrecking ball, going through two guys with his skating and physical determination. Looks great. (And I don't like any Red Wings not named Steve Y)

Yet the Austrians have surprisingly had the puck into the Russian zone four times, though without shots.

Now a Russian powerplay and Yashin missed on two shots. The Austrians are killing the powerplay effectively, only one good save needed.

Too many individual-based play on Russia. Kovalchuk surge. Afinogenov surge. Datsyuk surge. It's pretty lame.

Turnover of puck and Ovechkin mishandles, bobbles the puck in, but the Austrian goalie goes down so slow, so early, that Ovechkin's bobbling made no difference, he ended up with an empty net to dump the puck in.

There's nothing impressive about Russia so far this game. Even the goal looks lame.

Ovechkins goal was just caused by lack of concentration by Daniel Welser. He should have just cleared the puck...

But Ovechkin's skills are sick. Moves the puck into the air, fakes one shot and the second one is in...
