Very good, thanks guys. They're just wrapping up on this episode of Austin City Limits.
She only has two, Stranger in the Alps and Punisher. Punisher is probably the one to start with if you're looking at just her stuff but pretty much a coin toss.
If you want to listen to some of her collaborations, there is also boygenius (with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus) or Better Oblivion Community Center (with Colin Oberst). Personally, I really like boygenius.
The studio version of The Wall is actually full shit compared to the live version they recorded at Earls Court.
All versions of it are full shit, but I am not having this discussion in the Year of our Lord 2021.
That was the 5th time I seen them actually and was the best one. It wasn’t sold out the day of the show so my guess is that’s similar in most markets. I got to sit in the VIP deck which was awesome and their arrangement and visual of Violent Delights just absolutely f***ing ruled.I really love what they've done with this album. I assume you just saw them live? I've never had a prayer at getting tickets, they sell out in about -4 minutes for DC shows.
She did a song with Kid Cudi that is 10/10That was the 5th time I seen them actually and was the best one. It wasn’t sold out the day of the show so my guess is that’s similar in most markets. also, Phoebe Brigers looks like she’s going to be one of those people who is gonna be always doing something. I haven’t been as taken by her stuff as others, but I know she, as a person, rules
@DancingPanther are you familiar with this one? You'd probably like it, I think. We had this guy on campus at Mizzou who sang and played guitar in a bar on Fridays and he always did this one. I got arrested in that bar my first week of college for being an underage drinker, but that's irrelevant.
You couldn’t think of a better time to listen to this than 2 o’clock on a sunny afternoon?
I forgot about these guys
Holy shit, this album is ruthlessly efficient. I don’t think there’s a second of filler; it’s just 30 minutes of awesomeness.
Snail Mail.
