Clowe had a brief "discussion" with olesky early on. Their was no bs from that player for rest of game. Subtle little things like that make a difference. He is a mean mother!

Didn't stop Olesky from going for Boyle's knees later in the game.

Team toughness is one thing that I fully support, but let's not overblow some trash talking from Clowe.

However, hitting Erskine has really paid off quite well in the last two games. A completely different presence from him since then.

This big

I haven't seen any Core Hounds. But I haven't done the 6 train 40 man raid yet.

Stepan's goal tonight is one of those goals where I always see another team execute such a beautiful play and say to myself, "The Rangers never do that ****"

Since Moore is running the power play very well - in any situation, IMO - on the blueline, do any of you think it makes Del Zotto available in a trade?

You don't want to count your chickens before they hatch, especially when it comes to defenseman, and young ones, at that. Moore has been very good thus far, but we're 20 games in. Obviously, I really like what I've seen from him, and he's looked very promising thus far, but let's not forget how MDZ looked in 11-12 and throughout the middle of '13 — he was excellent. Over the past few weeks, he's hit a rough patch. I thought he was also one of our better defenseman in the playoffs last season.

MDZ is still only 23 years old, he is very young. Clearly, the talent is there, and it's not like he's giving us more bad than good.

If MDZ is traded, I would not be surprised at all to see him flourish on another team.

Just a theory, but my guess is that Nash has an injury that's hurting his shot. Instead of forcing him into a scoring role, Torts is using him with Cally and Step to play keep away from Ovi, and it worked well. He still was a turn over machine and needs to make better decisions, but if that was his role he played it well.

K, didn't see that play but clowe made an obvious impact IMO.
