Yeah, McNabb should not be in the Top 4, although I can see him developing into a Top 4 down the road. Ideally, the Kings can land a legit Top 4 defenseman and ride the following top pairings hard in the playoffs like the Blackhawks last year:

Doughty-Muzzin
XXX - Martinez

I know some people are down on McNabb right now, but he's still young and has potential. With that said, what are the realistic expectations for his next contract and his role with the team next year?

haha was thinking about that this morning. The radio was talking about clubs where the coaches message has gone stale. I don't know if that sentiment fits the kings, but it reminded me of the garbage can lockout.
I would think there should be a players only meeting soon though
 
At least Ehrhoff wasn't claimed, so if need be we can call him up to be the trash can.
 
Ok at this point I have no doubt left that we won't win the division, but since the goal is the Stanley Cup anyway it's okay.

The division will go to the Ducks (whom I expect to win roughly 20 of their last 26 games)

I would be ok with a San Jose first round matchup.
I think I would prefer Colorado though.

Win the freakin' STANLEY CUP in 2 of the last 4 years, yet it's too much to expect the team to contend and hopefully WIN only their 2nd division title in 50 years?!?! Too much to hope for? ok....

That was an entertaining game at least. That's the best team in the league they just lost to, not Toronto or Edmonton. Should have scored one sometime in the second when they had 16 shots to the Caps three but that was not a bad game.

I thought Vinny had his worst game as a King, and whoever's man that was on the game winner needs to wake up, but seriously "championship window closed"? I reallly don't think so.
 
The Kings can absolutely still win the division. The Ducks aren't going to stay this hot the rest of the season, and they have four games left head to head. Would be nice to win another division title, no reason they can't.

It was certainly an entertaining and fun game. Considering the gamebreakers on Washington's roster (and ovechkin still getting a million shots, lol), we locked them down pretty well, and controlled much of the game. Two heavyweights just trading blows for the most part really, was lots of flow. I think most people would welcome that as a 'non-boring' cup final.

Orlov can diaf though. Most of Washington could handle the physicality, but he was going down soft and acting tough behind refs constantly.

I really feel bad for Quick last night. Great game by him and all he gets for it is kneed in the head by Jwill, taken out by Wilson bowling with Schenn, and ****** coverage by McNabb.
