I think Boston would be happy to build a deal around DeBrusk and one of the young LHD not named Gryz. Picks would be included too. A top 6 of Marchand-Bergy-Pasta and Hall-Krejci-Tarasenko would be the envy of the league

Lol did you watch the last 35 games he played 24 end of season 4 playoffs and 6 international. That's almost half season and he was getting better every game
I get the narrative you and everyone else want low risk high reward and that's just not happening. So when the trade happens we can revisit this if I am wrong I will admit it. If you are wrong will u

he’s also got a sizable cap hit and a NTC to go along with his injury history. If he’s only willing to waive for 2-3 teams I don’t expect him to get a lot of value back. Blues will be happy to get his hit off the payroll

Think more Taylor hall when buffalo traded him as a comparable, rather then him snagging a mid- late 1st.
Tank will prob get a 2nd, a bottom 6 grinder prospect, and blues won’t have to hold any cap back. IMO

The idea that some team won't pay a hefty sum for him is ridiculous. Despite what some say, he's not "injury prone." The last two years have been the result of a single issue that wasn't caught and corrected until the last surgery. DA will get a decent offer for him or he won't trade him. If Tank truly wants out he's in no real position of leverage other than to open up his list of teams he'd go to or toil in agony for two years and hurting his future trade value. Some team will take a chance on getting a 30+ goal scorer for a little lower than what would normally be expected; bank on it. My personal opinion, I'd trade Tank for futures/prospects and start the rebuild early. Sell off some of the older core at the TDL this coming season for picks/prospects and then reevaluate the year after. Hopefully MK will be ready to come home to the LOU as a UFA at that point and you can start to build a new core.

If it's true that the Caps are looking to trade Kuznetsov this summer, they can get Tarasenko and re-unite him back with Oshie and not lose much of a step.

Monahan for Tarasenko 1 for 1. Blues retain 1 million to make the cap the same.

They are both coming off injury and have had a bad year or two behind them. Blues are looking for something down the middle and flames have needed a top line right winger for about 4 years now.

Lindholm moves to the middle where he has excelled already.

Gaudreau - Lindholm - Tarasenko
Tkachyk - Backlund - Mangiapane
No thanks we don't need Monahan.

Adam Ruzicka and Connor Mackey

For tarasenko

Add picks if you want retention no dead cap coming back unless the first is included

The 2 3 teams was debunked in the article the list appears to be ten teams.

Switch Lehkonen with Drouin and I think Habs do it.

I don't believe we are trading Guhle until we know how good he is. I'd offer 1st, Harris, and Drouin (cap reasons). If they laugh at it, so be it.

I'm interested in Tarasenko but not desperate. He is not tracking well recently with his injuries and he is 29/30 next year.

The best thing in the deal is the cap space
No it's not 1 mil and a guy we don't need. Sounds amazing. Army will use tarasenko to get younger prospects to fill out barron cupboard. If you guys want tank then make a other move. It's not up to the blues to deal with your cap issues unless you pay for that cap. Like the jori lehtera 2 1sts for Schenn

The Islanders can't take on ANY salary. They are already in cap hell, with a lot of older players who cannot easily be moved because of their contracts. Any Tarasenko deal with the Islanders would have to see the BLues taking on more salary than the Isles.
We could take Eberle if you made it worth our while. Clutterbuck or Bailey too. We have lots of $ coming off the books this year.

One thing to keep in mind is Armstrong has never retained salary so it’s unlikely.
We retained on Stasny. However, retaining at the deadline in the last year of a contract vs. retaining with 2 full years left is a big difference in $$$ Blues would be paying for someone to play for another team.

Yeah but they don't have a 1st round pick this year. We would need some projects from them. Ones they won't want to move.
