He couldnt lift a hose. Maybe he can find employment in the fireman's favorite Burger KingThe guys gonna be a fireman next year.
Took a shot at unlocking a high end talent, but didn't work out. Most reclamation projects don't.You'd have to think the fact that he was scratched for the last 2 games of the season makes it pretty unlikely they bring him back next year.
I doubt he gets qualified. Only if another team wants to secure his rights and not try to bid for his services at which they may not get him. Probably looking at a late round pick. I don’t see Van looking for a contract in return. If we can trade his rights for an AHL/ NHL tweener grinder C or physical RD, I'd say we take it and call it a day -- that or use his rights as a sweetener hopefully for moving Myers, or Garland (e.g. if Pittsburgh wants to trade for him to replace Zucker, then we can tack on his rights for free, and maybe they'd take a stab at getting Malkin to unlock him?).
I doubt he is at camp on a PTO. You’re giving up a contract spot for him. Depends on whether they want that open slot to sign ncaa free agents again next season.I think he’ll get a crack at training camp next season..but he’s on thin ice.
He was given an opportunity on EP’s line against LAK..and really couldn’t do anything with it..scratched in the last two..Definitely an ominous ending to the season for him.

Barring some team wanting to try their hands at a reclamation project I don’t see any team doing more than maybe flipping draft positions. They give up a 6th for a 7th just to get his rights and not compete for him. Thus no loss of picks just dropping back a bit. No reason to believe that there is going to be heavy interest in him. $875k was his contract. Doubt anyone wants to do much more than that. And he won’t go to the A. So, he returns to the khl or he somehow lands and stays with an nhl team. More likely to be khl.We paid a 7th for him and his value has gone down since then given how poorly he performed here when given a chance with a new team. He's utterly worthless waiver bait.
At this point, I'd handicap it at about 80% that he's in the KHL next year.
Barring him signing a 2 way deal I don’t see Van even considering bringing him back. No point.Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin are set to pass a sweeping law making if far more difficult for military-aged males to avoid conscription and being shipped to the Ukraine front.
A word of advice for Kravtsov. Better stay in VanCity and work hard on your game this off-season. Vitali.
Probably have other options to use the contract slot on. Or just keep it open for either waivers or ncaa free agent signing next season.Wouldn't even qualify him

Riiiiiiight.
None of this will affect hockey players, anyone of influence, or most anybody upper or upper-middle class.
Russia is like most places in that the poor/working class are the ones sent to die in wars.
No pro player ever fought in Afghanistan back in Soviet days, or Chechnya or Ukraine now.
Kravtsov will eventually end up in the KHL, imo. I dont think he has the work ethic to improve his game.
