Catching some of the OT and this is some physical fun hockey. That’s why you want VK there and not here right now.

so still aren’t going to show me a configuration that doesn’t have one of those big money guys (10/20/89) or one of the two franchise kids on the third line.

I just want you to read me that and I’ll say sure it makes sense to sign another 5 or 6 mil plus winger long term but you can’t do that. You continue to say everything but, but in no way does that make sense. And if you write it down you know it doesn’t which is why you rather play this song and dance.

it’s literally math. 5 guys for 4 top 6 wing spots doesn’t work

maybe I can make it easier. Which guy of the following after you’ve now extended buchy to big money do you want on the third line long term.

Buchnevich Kreider Panarin Kakko Lafreniere

maybe that will get me a straight answer
Ok. So what we have here is a situation on which you are pivoting to escape a discussion about how resigning Buchnevich will not have a scenario in which a $5 m Buchnevich is not playing on the third line in a scenario that contains Kravstov, whose thread we are in.

Now, we are going to utilize the Kravatov thread to discuss how the overall team is configured on each and every line. I say this because I pretty clearly laid out for you how the rights side would look with a Buch, Kakko & Kravstov on the team. Or do you deny that I have?

Ok. Let’s take your pivoted discussion to a place you wish to escape to, which seems to be overall team construction. Seems like the wrong thread for it, but you keep insisting to have it here. Then here it is.

No, at one point, you will have a third line player making in excess of $5m. Please let’s recall that the original debate was about the right side as it pertained to Buchnevich. Now you want to expand it. Chytil and Strome are your top 2 line centers. The left side has Panarin, Lafreniere & Krieder. The right has Buch, Kakko & Kravstov. Or whoever a package with Kravstov brings back.

For a few years, Krieder and Lafreniere are interchangeable is 2nd or 3rd line wings. But goth get plenty of ice time. In 2-3 years, Kreider becomes the 3rd line LW. In 3-4 years, a decision is made to either keep or trade Buchnevich.

you already know they want to spend 10
Mil on Eichel. So it’s pretty clear a 6 mil winger for the third line isn’t in the cards
You don’t know anything of the sort and we all know that. And you can do nothing but point to articles by Brooks as to what they want.

Here’s the bad news. If you have wings that are the drivers of play, then there is no need to have to pay centers to be the drivers. You are going to be paying for elite level play from wings and defense men. That means you are not paying for elite centers.

What was Kessel making with Pittsburgh?

so still no actual response of who you’re putting on the third line or how it makes sense to pay a third line winger big money on purpose. got it

Do you have a reading comprehension problem of some sort and need to have things read aloud to him?

Lets repeat. For the next 2-3 years it’s like this. On the right side, it’s Buchnevich, Kakko and Kravstov/Blackwell or who ever is brought in from a packager that includes Kravtsov. This is about the 4th time that o have outlined this for you? Can you please pretty please confirm that you under tend of what the right side looks like?

Now, we go to the left. It’s Panarin, Lafreniere & Krieder. For the next few years the latter two flip back and forth but eventually Kreider slides down and is the 3rd line LW. Is this clear enough? Can you please confirm that you have an understanding of what the left side looks like?

Can you please confirm that you have now been shown exactly what the wings are on night the left and right side on the top 3 lines?

Do you need more insight into who the 3rd line center is? Or since you were first concerned about the right side then quickly decided that was not a good argument and quickly changed to both sides, that it is enough?

Who knows but it’s pretty high (and will stay pretty high even when / if he joins the Rangers and his production early on is underwhelming).

I added a lot of folks on my ignore list with a lot of recent nonsense and I surely won’t hesitate to take advantage of this great feature in the future.

He might turn into a consistent 30-30 guy we all thought Kreider would become. Maybe better imo. Its pretty incredible that he is probably like our 5th-7th best young player.
