Yes it is. Many people walk to the Orang/Green Line stop at Haymarket where it is a little less congested. People also walk up to Government Center and some of the other garages.

You will be fine. I always give these tips to people when they are nervous about taking the train or walking while visiting the city is to

1. Know how to get back to where you are staying. Look at the map and any landmarks near where you are staying.
2. Walk confidently like you know where you are going
3. Walk with a group of people. I do this all the time even though I have lived here my entire life.

You got this! Have fun!!
thanks this been helpfull we just have not been there in 2 years

Starting to get a little nervous. Am supposed to be flying Alaska Airlines into Boston on 4/30. Pilots are on strike. Did get the insurance and paid extra to be able to change flights, so at least there's that. They've already adjusted my flight from 8:50am to 6am (sobbing) Just not sure if I can change airlines? Hoping mediation with feds tomorrow makes this all moot.

Had a great night at the game what an outburst in the second and felt bad for the fans who threw their hats on the ice after what everyone thought Marchy had the Hat Trick. Friday was nice as we walked around the harbour area and had a great Dinner in the North End. Sat everything down hill we left sat morning for our Noon Flight which got cancelled after we checked our bags then stood for over two hours on the Just Ask line which got us onto a 4 pm flight which was then delayed about 4 times before finally being cancelled near 2pm. then went to a counter to get a new boarding pass for sunday. Then went to the baggage claim and their were bags all over the place and of course the airline had no hotel rooms. We then finally found an Hotel which finally had a room. Sunday we had a two PM reservation which was Cancelled and had to finally get a refund and had cousins pick us up from NY and finally got home at midnight. I really loved coming up and seeing the bruins and the city but not sure we will be flying maybe we drive or take the train next time up.

Looking at taking in my first bruins game in Boston next season. Can my fellow Bruin fans tell me if tickets can be purchased directly from the box office or do I have to go through ticketmaster. I would like to avoid ticketmaster because of increase in costs.

Not sure about the Ticketmaster question.

But if you list the games you’re interested in going to in the ticket thread here, you might have some luck and they can’t be sold above face value on here.

I feel stupid asking this since I've lived in Massachusetts my entire life, but what subway line do I take to get to the USS Constitution, USS Cassin Young, and the US shipbuilding museum?

Orange Line to Bunker Hill Community College, then walk to Charlestown Naval Yard. You can also go via North Station on the Green Line.
