I understand people are upset. I'm upset too. But let's look at the bigger picture. We were not suppose to make the play-offs. Just cuz people believed our young core is not good enough, or our goalie is not good enough or any other reason. We were not suppose to beat the Wild, just cuz we (Jets+Thrashers) got swept before. Preds should face-roll us in second round some "experts" said. And there we're upset about not winning game 6 and advancing to WCF. I know it is frustrating to score 1 goal in 6 periods at home. But if you ask yourself before season started, would you take it? Going game 7 to Nashville for a dance?
I sure would. I still believe that anything can happen in game 7 including biggest lost for Jets or biggest win. But I'm happy that our young core, that obviously good enough unlike many predicted going to have an experience of game 7. We're on right track. We had patience to wait for our team to become what they are so we can get upset losing to president trophy winner when they're on brink of elimination. How about we gonna wait 3 days and see what our boyz are capable of in game 7? How about we all just take a step back and think about how much experience this team is going to get from this PO run. I believe this season is a huge success, eventho I want more. Just wait for Thursday cheer for Jets and enjoy. Game 7 like I said has it's own rules
Go Jets Go!

Ax has a point there is a salary cap but American cities have different tax laws so the total they walk away with in the states is higher.

Quite the dull game. No one can string two wins in a row. It’s a good thing that there doesn’t seem to be much of a carry over from game to game. No idea what we’ll get in Game 7.

Well apparently we're going to lose game 7 by a score of 17 to negative one, Patrik Laine will retire, Mark Schiefele will get assassinated by someone from Dallas caught in a time loop from 1963, Blake Wheeler will rip off his face mask to reveal he was actually an evil dimension version of Teemu Selanne, and the Winnipeg Jets will be relegated to the SPHL where out of necessity they'll move to Atlanta.

All right--it's time to bring this out--just press hard 3 times--and hope the Jet's play with some "panic and desperation" in Game 7. We "can" win this. I felt we were to overconfident going into this game.

I understand the optimism. But this isn't 14 year old little league. There are no participation trophies. They've had the series lead three times. They've failed to step on the Preds throat.

They can say the same. They shouldn't have to score first to win, but that is the way it has played out. This whole series has bounced back and forth teams trading games with each team adapting to the other and we are tied 3-3 going into game 7 but somehow Maurice is getting his ass kicked?

Because if we score first or get up on them by 2 goals they have to abandon their trap game. Problem is you cant always score first. With the talent we have we should easily be able to over come 5 dudes standing still in the neutral zone.

If we score first it fixes the system problem on its own, if we dont we rely on coaching and breakouts and zone entry to win, how has that gone? So yes, ive said this at the start of the playoffs, if we need to rely on coaching we are screwed. I am a firm believer that we are an elite team with elite talent and incredible depth with a mediocre coach.

Effort by the Jets was actually much better than in the game 4.

Let's give some credit for the Preds. Ryan Johanssen, for example. Huge PK effort by him.

A bit lucky opening goal and after that unbelievable defensive game by Predators. They defended their zone centre pretty much perfectly.

they played crisp

jets played better than game 4, but they still played bad

When we came back last game, we were hitting all over the ice and skating our asses off. The frustration as a fan comes from knowing what they are capable of and them watching that first period.

If you had spent your entire life as an athlete waiting for this moment wouldn’t you be working your ass off ? I don’t understand how you come out in the first period like that.

No reason Jets cannot blast them in game seven. Helle is due to stop everything.

Game 7 is Thursday, three days away, and people are not only writing off the rest of this series but our future too?

Go ****ing cheer for the Predators over here, k?

It boggles the mind. We are in the heat of a playoff battle and instead of people talking about what we need to do to counteract, it is all aren't we S***, Maurice sucks' everyone is terrible, bunch of losers etc. WE ARE STILL ALIVE IN THE STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS AND PLAYING A GAME 7 ON MAY 10TH AND SOMEHOW EVERYTHING SUCKS! Sorry for shouting but **** at least wait to we are actually eliminated to give up.

Yeah, the Bruins under Julien had no success with a 1-4......

And the Preds were mainly playing 1-3-1 anyway.

Jets lost too many board battles tonight. The Preds puck support was much better than the Jets tonight, quicker and tighter.

They werent running a 1-3-1. It was a solid 1-4. It wasnt the old tampa bay system. Of course to be honest NHL teams run multiple systems with multiple lines. Aka Shiefs line could run a 2-1-2 and Lowry a 1-4. I did not see the 1-3-1. Doesnt mean they didnt run it. Doesnt matter the 1-3-1 is as beatable as the 1-4.

Are the Bruins in the playoffs still?

I do agree the Pred puck support was far better. I dont know if I would say they won more board battles though. I thought honestly that was in our favor or fairly even.

In the end 0-4 on the PP. That sucked.

They've bounced back every time they have disappointed. There are no participation trophies that's true but... If you think like that every year there are 30 losers and 1 winner every year which is not true. Some teams are in the end of their time-frame, some like us are just starting to get there and if you ask me we're moving faster than most to ultimate goal

Well, before we hand out the participation ribbons......Jets do have a game 7. This team has consistently bounced back from bad performances (and this was bad)

One game shot....if we can actually get out of the gate quick enough.....it can be done. But need a hell of a lot less passengers.....

Hopefully Nashville tries to please the home catfish crowd and doesn't play this good defensively because they want to score instead . Jets have to get a lead so Nashville opens up , it's our best chance at winning .

We seem to do better when we cant control the freaking match ups. That blows my mind.

Step back from the ledge we are going to game 7 . Let’s see the guys leave everything on the ice Thursday night.

Some of the players getting bashed on here actually played ok tonight.

Enstrom played fine. Chiarot - not so much.

When we came back last game, we were hitting all over the ice and skating our asses off. The frustration as a fan comes from knowing what they are capable of and them watching that first period.

You nailed this.
