So much this. Does every other board stamp their feet, pout and cry with every little playoff setback? In all honesty we show far more inexperience with the highs and lows of a playoff run then the players everyone can't criticize enough. Which successful team has never faced a game 7? This series is a coin flip at this point.

It's absolutely f***ing insane, pardon my French.

No ehlers for over a month no Laine for at least 2 weeks no chance in moving on. Does anybody really think they are showing up next game.

Tonight's game was the classic way of how not to finish off a series, nothing worked for this team tonight, what shots we got on Rinne were right at him, and with 4 pp things didn't get any better, that being said nobody gives you wins they have to go out and take game 7, if Little is injured sit him, go back to the tried and true lines and maybe throw a few hits at the beginning of the game. Game 7 anyone can win it even the Jets.

They need to put Connor back on unit one as they desperately need someone who can gain entry. We don't need two entry specialists on the second unit. That is the one big area Maurice or whoever is running the PP needs to make an adjustment.

Totally agree and they need to move Laine off the left point. I was watching they have a guy glued to Shief in the slot and another plays super high almost right on top of Laine. And we force those two plays over and over and over again from the half wall. Honestly move it to a diamond flare out Laine and Shief so that if they cover them both it leaves either a walk in shot from the point or a mess in front of Rinne.

The Preds have it figure out. Zone entry is a whole other problem though. Yeah Conner solves alot of that on his own.

Yup. This is the playoff hockey we all wanted. There are 5 teams still with life and we are one of them. At the start of the season who wouldn't have taken a chance on us going into a game 7 in round 2 of the playoffs. The way this team bounces back when things look to unravel I'm willing to take my chances.

Watching a team play 1990 New Jersey Devil 1-4 almost a 0-5 German trap is NOT really the playoff hockey I wanted.

I for one am glad for the sake of Maurice that he did not play Hendricks tonight, playing him and losing like that, he would have been absolutely ripped apart on social media. I don't think one can blame the coach for this.

Game 4 wasn't lost because of Hendricks either, and this should make that crystal clear. When the Preds beat the Jets in game 4 and tonight it was because they played fast decisive hockey. That was the one thing that stuck out to me watching the PVR...especially on the PP the Jets were indecisive with the puck and that one extra second of hesitation kills them against this team.

It's always surprising to me that people think the Jets **** the bed. Sure there are games where they **** the bed, but you forget that this is no slouch they are facing. That was some of the best defensive hockey I've seen in a while, the Preds on the PK were absolutely relentless. The Jets just couldn't move the puck around them tonight. Zero time, zero space. Game could have been much different had Statsny put it in an open net or some of the other looks early in the game. Hate to say it on a Jets forum because I'm a die hard fan but the Preds were the better team in that game no question. Jets are going to have to dig up a new kind of effort on Wednesday.

What bothers me the most is that every single team that plays a deep 1-4 for longer then the last 10mins of a game usually gets spanked. And for some reason we cant figure it out. Thats an embarrassment in coaching. I understand if we didnt have the speed or the talent but we have everything we need to smash that style of hockey in spades.

Pp1 is soooooo slooooow. Very easy to force them to make mistakes.

I don't like the trap but you play to win they are not here to impress the Jets home crowd they are here to win and that's what they did tonight, by any means possible, if the Jets show up in the first period skate and hit them and score a couple you will be watching a different game and most probably a Jets win.

I love the kick the wounded dog when it's down mentality of this board when things don't go their way..

Jets still measure up against the Preds as well as they ever have. Suck it up and have a bit of faith. If you've watched this team all year, I wouldn't expect the same for next game.

****ing A. Good on you man.

Well the Jets have won 3 games and the Preds have won 3 games so it's hard to say who is struggling. These are 2 of the best teams in the league this year. A back and forth series should have been expected

Yes. I think many were drawn to the hype of the last two days. Preds are a good defensive team, not easy to kill.

Great post!!!

No. No. No.

Enstrom was steady. Chiarot can't handle the hard forecheck and can't handle the puck. It creates a mess for Myers, who just can't process the game fast enough against a team like the Preds. At least Morrow can retrieve the puck and move it.

Yes, agree - didn't like Chiarot's game at all tonight. That second goal, was straight up dire straits.

Game is Thursday? **** sakes. What the hell am I supposed to do until then?!?

I've got a pack of cuban cigars in my office. My spouse bought me a yoga pass. Hm, which one of these? Teetering...teetering...

The Preds were crazy good today, absolutely. Everything Forsberg did turned to platinum. I think Thursday is our day, though.

Good night all.
