Exactly. An upgrade at lower cost....and money to spend.

Yeah but if they are pre recording this and do that with every team that's over 90 different players and from my understanding this isn't the only location that they are filming. That would be a ton of editing to get done between 10am when the list need to be finalized and the show at 8pm not impossible but i think they have a good idea who they are taking.

I think someone said it was only for one pick and they'd move onto another location.. so they just need to do the 4-5 players possible from the Leafs (really only 3)

His play post injury was very concerning to me. He had no hands, and lost a step or 2.
If he wants anything with close to rumoured ask, that's a non-starter.

This seems likely, but Seattle could have done multiple takes and only this one leaked. For example, they could have one with Dermott being the pick or McCann, etc. I believe the Sens did multiple for Alex Trebek taking Stutzle because of the variables involved.

I think multiple takes is most likely the case, and I wouldn't read too much into this clip -- other than Kerfoot's contract is in play, which we already knew.

I think there will be a lot of last-minute movement on Seattle's draft board -- depending on last-minute trades -- and it's easy to be prepared for all reasonable possibilities.

It's just money. The hockey-management team is dealing with up to $80-million in player contracts, and they're the ones whose time is limited. It's no skin off their nose to hire people to record dozens or even hundreds of takes, if that's what's needed to cover off all reasonable possibilities.

I lived right next to the market when I was in Seattle. Shopped there all the time but never had someone throw me a fish. It was a madhouse on Saturday mornings. Ah, the days when people went outside...

Ya I mean they definitely toss the fish, but it is more of a tourist trap attraction at this point. People huddling over one another waiting for the sucker to buy a $100+ sockeye just to see it fly. It is a neat place to be for sure. Seattle is a world class city IMO and they have some of the best/loyal fans in NA. As a Vancouverite, I cannot wait to go check out the Leafs in the Krak house. It will be a complete zoo. My prediction is that Seattle will have one of the best in game atmosphere's in the NHL right away. If they even bring half the energy they bring to the Hawks games it will be an unbelievable place to watch a game
