@Devil Dancer Admittedly my Dad's relentless giving my brother and I money at 88 years old (which why I was able to buy the card from a coworker) even though my brother and I have to financially make sure my Dad continues to live with dignity that his mother was not able to.

All that said I refuse to sell, ebay style, anything of value. I sent my 3080 to a coworker, who as not my direct report, for nothing.

In the Q3 hey days I sent a voodoo gfx card to a fellow clan member in Quebec for free and the degree of thankfulness for 15+ years was... not something I was seeking but stayed with me sense.
That's awesome, I'm jealous. I've never had a top of the line graphics card. Closest I've come was a 2060 when the 20XX cards were new.

NHL 23 world of chel ... Im starting to play those online games but at some point in the game its kicking me out saying disconnection to other players.

Google says try direct ethernet cable and Ill try that. And re-start the router.

1. Any suggestions?
2. Does it ruin the game for the other players if I get disconnected? I hope not

Thank you

If the other players are leaving this happens as well. I think if the other team gets down to only 1 player the game disconnects or if your the only one left on your team

So do people bail a lot if things get one sided? That would make sense as it 'disconnected" as soon as a guy scored a goal to go up like 3-0. But I didnt see that mentioned on the internet as a reason (when I thought itd be the reason)

it happened 3 games in a row last night. last game we were winning by 1 goal, was good evenly matched game, early on ... when that disconnected I started to think it was something on my end.

This is my first go into online gmaing so im not sure if I need better wifi speed or kick other people off the net in my house? I pay good money for 5g whatever it is ...

Do we have a HF caps posse?

Why cant you talk w the other players online?

edit - pretty sure I am exclusively playing those quick "drop in" games.

Thanks for all the help Cappy

I’d be surprised if it was on your end honestly:

Yes if it gets one sided the other team typically will quit and try to find another game with different players. If you’re playing drop in it happens a ton actually especially if user goalies are involved or if it gets one sided early.

You should be able to talk to others on the same team *if they’re using mics (drop in doesn’t typically have a ton)

You’ll know if it was on your end. If you’re playing Threes Eliminator you’ll move onto the next round or have to play the same round again if someone else disconnected whereas if you disconnect you have to restart the tournament. Each team needs at least two human players so if you’re playing a team with two humans and a computer player and one guy quits then it’ll end the game for everyone.

I play a ton of Chel, mostly Ones and Threes Eliminator. I have a group I normally play with but always open to playing with anyone who wants to play.

Baldur's gate after 4 hotfixes is getting a huge patch with more than a thousand changes/fixes.
Oh? Hopefully they did something about the camera, because it was unplayable (at least for me). I'd pick it back up if they fixed that.

I don't know about it, Here is full patch notes , If not, there is a very popular mod on Nexus, 100k downloads, calls

Native Camera Tweaks

often used with

WASD Character Movement

Hopes it helps you. Otherwise, 2nd big patch is upcoming too.

That's a really impressive list of bugfixes and improvements. Didn't really see what I was looking for, unfortunately. The camera tweaks mod might help, but I'm not sure.

I basically want a fully automatic camera. It felt like I was struggling with the camera the entire time and it took away from the rest of the game. Something about it is really awkward for me. I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually, but I don't have much time to play games these days so it's kinda daunting.

Did you try this option, in accessibility settings

Yeah, Baldur's Gate 3 needs a huge amount of time. I just recently started 2nd act, after 60h in the first and still there is a lot of left.

I did try that, but it didn't seem to do anything at all. I was using Linux, though. There's a chance it is just wonky in the Linux port.

Yeah, this is exactly why I have been holding off. I could very easily get hooked and burn 2-3 weeks like it's nothing. Did that with Elden Ring and haven't even finished it. That's why I took a step back from games for a while.

To the gentle men of the Caps board,

It is with swelling excitement and joy that I announce, I Gregg Gamble 443, will have the house completely to myself when I come home tonight. I promise you, my fellow man, I will not abridge the opportunity laid before me.

My promise to you:
1. I will immediately strip down to my boxers as soon as I pass through the portal to my abode. Leaving my office clothes at the front door where they will remain.
2. I will crack open a cold one within 30 seconds of entering said abode.
3. I will roll a joint, eat a 25 mg edible and drop some RSO within 15 minutes of entering said abode. No oil carts tonight.
4. I will watch copious amounts of porn with the volume up. (maybe not copious, im 45)
5. I will play RDO, RDR2 and NHL 23.
6. I will pan sear a good steak, basting with butter/garlic/thyme. No sides. Just bloody steak that I will eat off the cutting board where it was resting, while standing drunk in my kitchen in my boxers.
7. I will fall asleep to a Tarantino movie on the couch.
8. I will be miserable tomorrow morning but be at work by 9. (9 ish)

Signed yours in the bond of brotherhood,

Gregg Gamble 443

Ok all you Solasta players….

Is the big Lightbringer bundle worth it, or should I just get the original game, on sale for ~$10 (vs $37)

The Solasta Lightbringers Edition contains:

- Crown of the Magister: The original level 1-12 campaign. From fledgling adventurers to saviours of Masgarth, this 40h+ campaign will take you through the Badlands in search of ancient artifacts to stand against a mysterious threat.
- Palace of Ice: A level 10-16 campaign, it is the continuation of Crown of the Magister and Solasta's last DLC. Venture north into the lands of the Snow Alliance to help your allies and end the Sorak menace once and for all! Also unlocks the Gnome and Tiefling ancestries.
- Lost Valley: A stand-alone level 1-12 campaign. Trapped by accident in an isolated valley where Manacalon's ancient traditions still rule, the party must find a way to escape by allying various factions jumping at each other's throat. Also unlocks an additional subclass for each class.
- Primal Calling: Unlocks the Barbarian & Druid classes, as well as the Half-Orc ancestry.
- Inner Strength: Unlocks the Warlock, Bard & Monk classes, as well as the Dragonborn ancestry.
- Supporter Pack: Enjoy additional dice to choose from in the option menu, as well as a plethora of high quality concept art from the development of the game!

I'm not Solasta player,

but all dlc' are at special, so you are not forced to buy all. Based on ratings, Primal Calling and Lost Valley have mixed reviews, probably that's why they have a better special (-35%). So, if I wanted to save some money, I would buy everything but these 2 dlc.

Maybe, Supporter pack to skip too, it's mostly Concept Arts

So it's down to 27$ US, to get the game and best dlc'

I just started FO4. Probably about 5-6 hours into it. I don’t love it to be honest but I can see myself getting into it. I really dislike the map / inventory / quest visual system, as in it’s the worst I’ve ever seen in a game. It’s awful but maybe it’ll grow on me.

If you are playing on PC, I can't recommend the sims settlements 2 mod enough - it adds a whole lot to the game.

I really liked the additions made in the Solasta DLCs, thought they enabled some good content. And I actually preferred the campaign in Lost Valley to the original. (Didn't play Palace of Ice.). But A) I've been a D&D player so I may get more out of it than others, and B) different people have different ability/willingness to spend that extra $27, so a decision for one may not be right for another.
