I know game is great, but switch (hardware) is seriously outdated. Most smartphones are quite a bit more powerful than switch. Nintendo needs to update their platform.

Games made exclusively for switch (mario, zelda, etc.) and most indies run perfectly fine on it as far as I've seen. It's when you try to play the triple A graphics intensive titles that it really shows its age. But idk why you would be trying to play those on a switch in the first place

Last zelda is capped at 30fps and probably at lower graphic settings already. I think ppl mostly buy it for Zelda. Sure you can keep this hardware for decades if you don't care about graphics. The problem is the price. Steam deck cost US50$ more and capable to run AAA games. By this standard, Nintendo Switch should cost 100$ MAX. Ppl are overpaying for this.

Started playing Chivalry II and it’s awesome. It’s a first or third person hack and slash but the hack and slash is actually pretty hard. The Medieval setting and weapons make it a ton of fun and the combat is brutal. I picked up a dude’s arm and hit him with it after I cut it off and one time time I headbutted a dude to death after he cut off both my arms.

And forgot to spend all his souls before boss fight.
Hey welcome to the game, glad you're enjoying it. You feel like you're getting it down? That's good. We love to see it, look how fun this is going to be.

Oh wait a minute what's this? Guess what? f*** you, eat shit. Welcome to the barrier to entry, bitch, hope you learned everything you'll need mechanically in the 10 or so guys you actually defeated in your short life.

Suck it, Misha.

Yep, Dark Souls has no mercy for new players.

It is so easy to lose track of time when playing Zelda lol. Same issue I had when playing Elden Ring. It's rare for a game to have that effect anymore, usually I top out at like an hour of gameplay these days.

I haven’t commented on Tears of the Kingdom since I started but it’s so much fun.

Chivalry II is a ton of fun. Very hard as a beginner but it’s great once you get the hang of it. What I like about it is it’s not like Call of Duty or Fortnite or Apex Legends where other players are so good that it’s a miserable experience for n00bs. You’ll get smoked at first don’t get me wrong but it’s not possible to hide out and snipe and know all the maps by heart in CII like it is in those other games. If you have PS+ it’s free this month.

The best Metal Gear Solid game is getting a remake!

Also just feel like posting what is probably the best intro to a video game that I can remember:

Too many games, too little time.
