Just completed Burning Shores.

Enjoyed the hell out of it as I have with every entry in the series. Still wondering how the approach the third game given the plot events to date but it can’t get here soon enough!

Bought an entry level racing wheel, pedals, and a wheel stand for driving sims. I've been enjoying just taking practice laps on tracks and driving around on open maps. The Xbox controller just isn't cutting it, though.

Tape to Tape went into early access on Steam today. I only had a few minutes to try it, but I did the brief tutorial and played one quick game against the AI.

It is pretty much what it looks like. It's a goofy, cartoonish, arcade style game. The controls are very basic shoot, pass/switch player, check and some kind of special move button that does some silly thing... of the two that I tried, one shoot the puck at somebody's head and knocks them down, and the other throw your stick at somebody and knocks them down. Seems like it can also hit your own teammates or the ref. Checking can knock people down as well... when people get knocked down they stay down for a few seconds.

Probably won't get much play from me unless they start adding more realistic elements to it. Still glad to see somebody making a hockey game, though. Games do evolve, so I'll keep watching to see what they do with it.

So is the point of hades to just die over and over again until you're strong enough to get through the entire underworld?

Never played a rogue-like but I like it so far

Yes but also your power ups will be different each run which adds some fun and variety.

Yes, its the only rogue-like game I've played that I enjoyed. There are some combinations of boons that are out right overpowered. Finding those combinations was the most fun for me.

The Green Knight - movie I saw this weekend. Visually really stunning in parts. Adaption of a 14h century poem about King Arthurs nephew accepting a challenge from a Green Knight who calls out the knights of the round table for being soft. Thoroughly enjoyed it late at night, big tv, candles burning, drinking ale and perfectly toasted.

King Arthur and his sister Morgana are always at odds with each other.

Duality of man.

Arthur is good/righteous vs sister who practices black magic

You think RDR2 made his name Arthur Morgan to be a symbolism of Arthurs struggle of good and evil .. being two people at one time?

Had fun with 3, but a little concerned now that EA owns it. Needs a hockey version, but if its EA, why not bring the NHL series? A hockey version of Legend Bowl could work

Can't believe they got the rights for Hammer Longballo

The review embargo just lifted for Tears of the Kingdom.

I don’t think I can possibly be more excited. All of the reviews say it surpasses Breath of the Wild in pretty much every way. I didn’t think that was possible!

I’m saying this somewhat in jest but while it may surpass Breath of the Wild, it’s not possible for it to surpass Ocarina of Time. Ocarina of Time, for me, is arguably the greatest game of all time. It was so unrivaled by any of its peers and it was groundbreaking in how it allowed you to explore the world in conjunction with a terrific storyline.

That said, I am super excited to get a Switch — er, I mean, for my son to get a Switch… so I can play both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Yeah yeah...my...er...nephew needs a Switch too...thats the ticket...

No seriously I have to get for a Switch now, even if BOTW and Tears of the Kingdom are the only two games I ever play on it.
