It’s a really captivating game in terms of storyline and ease of gameplay but yeah, I got to the final boss probably my 8th run through. Haven’t beaten him yet but still I was wondering if I actually made it to the main boss after only an hour or so of playing or if it’s like an Assassin’s Creed thing where the intro was very long and then it opened up into a much bigger game but maybe not.

One thing that’s disappointing is the contractor upgrade options. Seems like there’s only maybe 10% of the upgrades that actually help you in gameplay and the rest are changing the color of the drapes or adding a fountain to the main hall or something. The other thing that irritates me is how rare it is to get Titan’s Blood. I’ve only seen it when you clear a level with a new weapon so upgrading your gear is a slog.

What was your favorite weapon? I got the furthest with the cannon but I kinda like the shield and the trident. I like the gloves a lot but there’s no distance option with them which makes the boss battles difficult. The sword seems useless but maybe I just need to upgrade it.

It’s a great waste of time game. If I have half an hour or so I can just do a run through and if I have to step away I’ll just set the PS to rest mode and pick it up when I get back.

You can get two titans blood each run (from Megara and Hades) for each weapon and each heat level for each weapon. You can also get a lot of Titan blood from doing quests as rewards.

Heat levels are restrictions you can choose to add up to a heat (difficulty level) which then acts as a new run so that you can get rewarded again.

All the weapons are great, just need to grab the right combo in bonuses (god's gift or weapon skill) for them. And then it's kinda op.

This upcoming starfield game looks ambitious as f***, shame its not coming to playstation. Then again its bethesda so it'll need mods to save it

It is coming to PC too on day one, so that's also an avenue if you have one. Looks really interesting, and I love the Elder Scroll games.

Starfield is said to be described as "Skyrim in space" by Bethesda's CEO and is being created with Bethesda's brand new Creation 2 engine (older Bethesada games were on the Creation 1). So maybe the wonky systems will be fixed with less bugs.

Todd Howard has said that they're going back to heavier RPG elements. But Todd says lots of things, time will tell. Defiantly my most anticipated game for next year. Will try it on PC Game Pass first and then buy on it Steam if I like it.

Lol right! Just have to make sure I don’t run into a wall now with that thing on my head. Resident Evil 4 might be my first purchase
The only thing that sounds worse than fighting a bunch of dolls in Resident Evil is fighting a bunch of dolls in Resident Evil in VR. So, yeah, have fun

I actually haven’t played RE village, last one was RE2 in 2019 and I loved that game. But yeah I’m excited, going to put homegirl in the bar fight game also

Just finished Deathloop the other day. It was good, but it didn’t quite click with me like it did with others. I didn’t think it deserved quite so many game of the year type awards that it received, but still I’m glad to see games are deviating from the standard formulas.

I’m onto FF7 Remake Intergrade now. I’m replaying the main story before moving onto the Yuffie DLC, and it’s been just as good now as it was last year when it came out on the PS4. I didn’t have a ton of faith in Square Enix to pull it off but it’s so good. Even if you never played the original FF7 the remake is worth it. The graphical enhancements are great on the PS5. Looking forward to the DLC after I finish the main story.

That's exactly what I'm doing now. Only had to do the Yuffie DLC, and got it on sale right now. Finished the DLC, now redoing the main story on the PS5 and it looks amazing.

Anyone on ps5/series x choose quality mode over performance in games? After playing spiderman remastered i dont think i can go back to 30 fps, the difference is night and day. Even if theres a lowered resolution. 4k60fps is a godsend

Absolutely not. 30 fps is borderline unplayable for me nowadays. I tried Ratchet & Clank and FF7 remake in quality mode and I much preferred 60 fps performance mode.

30 can be ok if it's consistent, but drops below that are unacceptable, and games with variable rates can be jarring when they drop from 60+ to around 30.

I see it in the Halo cut scenes, which really chug, even on XSX. Thankfully the action scenes seem pretty solid at 60+.

Inscyption might be the most bizarre game I’ve ever experienced. It’s certainly up there. A horror/card game/roguelike/2d puzzle adventure/YouTube ARG.

The Epic holiday sale/giveaway was great this year, but I wish I had these games on a mobile platform instead of PC. I'm playing Neon Abyss right now and it feel like a game I should be playing on Switch.

Probably should have put a deposit down on a Steam Deck. Oh well.
