After I got butthurt playing season 1 a day early, I checked which arpgs I own on steam. Low and behold I own grim dawn. Upon seeming it, I remembered cap suggested it. So I download it, and while it’s downloading I see I have a bunch of achievements for it. Getting level 35, level 50, beating the story.
I don’t recall any of this.
Games downloaded, I find I have two characters, ones level 50, ones level 42.
Make a new character, instantly remember the games beginner area, but nothing else.

I get to play a game a second time, for the first time!

My one friend decided the two of us should start playing Borderlands 3 since it's free on PS5. Even though I've already beat it, it feels good to play a game where your loot isn't always garbage, you're not going to worry about nerfs, and it actually involves a little skill. Plus not being so goddamn serious is also a plus. Unfortunately most of the good jokes left the series after Randy Pitchford ran the original writers out of the company.

I had a blast with BL3.

Still haven't gotten around to Tiny Tina's Wonderlands... Have you played it?

I played the dlc one but not the stand alone. It’s fun but be aware you’re getting tiny Tina humor the entire time.

Yeah, I figured that. I'm ok with all of the humour, honestly. Some are better than others, but overall I really enjoy how unseriously BL takes itself.

Her character was over the top BL humor so I was just giving you a warning.

I played some of Wonderlands but I feel the humor hasn't been as good since BL2 overall. I loved the original Tiny Tina DLC to death. I wasn't expecting actual heart to appear in any Borderlands game but the whole D&D game was everyone volunteering to help Tina process a friend's death. Claptrap as Gandalf, poking fun at Dark Souls, they really covered all their bases. Plus I'll take more appearances of Mr. Torgue any day.

Only 4 missions left until I finally beat Nioh 2. This game went from very frustraing to the most fun and rewarding action combat of any game I've played.

I recently bought the Nioh Collection for cheap on Prime day. Does Nioh 2 improve upon Nioh or are they both good in their own ways?

I never played 1, but the general concensus seems to be that Nioh 2 improves on almost everything from Nioh 1 so going from 2 to 1 feels bad, but playing 1 first makes you appreicate the changes in 2.

I followed a basic beginner demolitionist build in grim dawn, focusing on using a rifle as a main. When I hit level 26 I realize it heavily uses dlc content. Damnit.
Anyone here have any idea what build I can follow from this point that uses core game everything, demo/? Rifle weapon?

Welp since my friends and I never played a Diablo game, we thought we were getting some proper new content with the next season like other games do. No real new enemies, all the season chapters are literally just busy work that any new character has to do anyway, the malignant hearts are basically just gems with aspects on them, all the season tier rewards are just cosmetic stuff, and it's all the exact same map with no new zones. If that's what Diablo has always done, it's terribly lazy. We're moving on to other games.

Wait until Jojo gets back in a couple of weeks - he'll remember everything I have forgotten.

Perfect response, expect to come back when they get stuff sorted out. It’s a good series when the game gets going.

Someone asked and I didn’t see an answer, are there any sci-fi diablo clones that are good?

Thought some of you boys might enjoy this. This was how I hit WS in Coop.

Do you think the Phillies hit on Hall of Fame difficulty?

I played against your friend in co-op the other day. Lost 4-3 in the 9th. I hit 3 HRs though bleary eyed before bed. Not to get weird, but I didn’t know you played LG. I recognize your tag.
