OT: Video Game Thread Part VIII

There’s zero reason to rush through anything. I hit 47 today and stopped by choice. There’s no functional reason to need to trade with other people, nor is there any need for a build guide. I winged it on a brand new class that went live today. I have a bird because it looked fun. I’m working toward a talent where you place totems and Tripwires appear between them. I don’t know or care if it’s good. It’s fun.

(The story might as well be non-existent.)

Not entirely sure how I feel about a lack of story, but I can look past it for the sake of fun. May need to give it a shot.

I’m blown away by this game so far. The combat is some of the most intense I’ve ever experienced in gaming.

I played it a couple years ago at this point, but I remember pulling up to the first boss and getting annihilated a couple times before getting things under control. Heh. That boss is child's play when you look back after progressing through the story.

Played a cup game and as soon as I scored the first goal he paused the game and 5 seconds later my whole game closed, which has never once happened before.

Had something similar. He quit and I was playing the cpu.

Got Fantasy Konate, Majri, and Politano

Only have 12 of the 20 wins so far, so there’s still most of the good rewards to go. Also got absolutely cooooooked by the Icon pick, yet again.

Nah. I got Konate in one of the smaller packs (he must be pretty common Untradeable). Got cooked on everything else including the 83x10s. Got Shevchenko done though. He’s pretty good.

Seen some pro streamer get Mbappe, Marchisio, Grealish, Acuna, Aspas, and one other promo out of the 84x20. Unreal.

He’s like 380k I think. I didn’t really like him in the cup but he could be really good with the upgrades. He looks like the hulk out there lol.
