Bernardo Silva (of course) and Olga. The two cheapest outside of Ederson.

The dupes are driving me bananas though. Thought I'd have more high rated fodder. Pack weight feels horrendous.
Exactly. And there’s no SBCs to use 84s or 83s on, other than the TOTW pick… which sucks.

I’m really liking Lies of P.

The art design is phenomenal, combat is very challenging but so fun once you get the hang of it, and the story is intriguing too.

Playing Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice too. That game is bonkers, in a good way.

Nope. Not even QFs. Lol.

Did they extend it?
I think it's still just until Monday night.

I’m getting my ass beat. 5-5 in qualifiers, now 4-5 so far in WL. One loss was 3-9, another 2-7. Although, in my defense, my goalie only made ONE save in the first game and two in the second. The traitor, 90 gold Courtois, has been permanently retired and will be in an SBC as soon as possible.

My whole teams AI in general has been shockingly bad so far.

If you had told me at the beginning of 2023 that one of the best games (in a very good year!) coming up would be a Souls-like inspired by The Stories of Pinocchio with a good bit of Bloodborne inspiration from a Korean developer nobody has heard of, I'd have laughed, but here we are. I'm really surprised by the number of little quality of life changes they added. Your ergo counter turning blue when you can level up, and telling you how much you have lying on the ground after you die. The lantern turning red when there's a butterfly nearby. Being able to actually customize weapons by swapping the blades and handles. The tool bar having a top and bottom so you can quickly switch on the fly. I haven't finished it yet, so the game my take a total nosedive in the second half, but I've been blown away so far.

Hellblade was a trip. Never played anything else like it. Please tell me you're playing it with headphones on. I hate to be a gatekeeping bitch, but you aren't really playing Hellblade without headphones.

I don't know how anyone can stand Souls-like games. That means you start over every time you die, right? I'd be f***ing catatonic.

You don't start all the way over when you die, you just lose the in-game currency you use to buy stuff/level up (and have to go pick it up. If you die again it's lost forever.) and respawn at the last checkpoint you visited.

Roguelikes are the ones that you have to start all the way over. I hate that shit too.

Oh, I see.

Automerge eats every dick that is, was, or ever will be.

I’m glad I started once they added the quality of life changes to it. Sounds like it was difficult in a f***ed up/punishing way before. I’m in chapter 6. Tried to beat the Mad Puppet Clown but he got me the 1st go round. I’ll get him at halftime of the Ravens Chiefs game.

Lies of P is THE best looking Soulslike to date. No framerate dips ever. I’m blown away that that kind of quality came from a small studio. Looks better than a lot of AAA games actually. There’s a sequel on its way and a DLC coming for the first game too!

I’m exclusively playing Hellblade at night with Headphones on, the curtains drawn, and all the lights off. I want the full immersion experience. Currently in Surt’s gate section I think it’s called. I like it so much in the early stages that I might end up biting the bullet to buy a Steam Deck OLED to be able to play the sequel when it comes out this spring. The sequel is an Xbox/PC exclusive apparently.

That guy was such a pain in the ass lol. I had more trouble with him than I did most of the 'real' bosses.

I stocked up on throwables and abrasives and it barely helped. His moveset is unpredictable and hard to pin down/figure out . I realized he was optional so I just ran past him to the opera house entrance. I’ll come back to beat him later on after I’m god-mode leveled-up. He’s annoying as f***.
