i did it way back yonder on either the 3 or 4 and it really is quite simple..just follow the step by step instructions

Is there like a "worst case scenario" if I botch this? That's really what I am more worried about. I don't care if I accidentally mess up the new hard drive or for some reason I am just too stupid to do the install, I am worried I am going to crack it open and mess it up somehow and now I don't have a PS5 anymore. Haha.

like i said it has been a while but if it is was like it was when I did it the removal and installation of the new drive is like a simple removing of a panel on the side and 1..maybe 2 screws...its easier than you are worried about and I get it..its a nervy thing because its a 500+ investment..but it really is easy..just follow the official guide

That depends on whether you're putting a drive in the expansion slot (probably) or replacing the existing drive.

Assuming it's the former, like trostol said, it's a couple of screws. Just make sure you ground yourself and there's nothing to screw up. They included the expansion slot for people like you who want it to be simple.

Yeah I watched that. It looks easy but I can't tell you how many times I have watched a YT video and thought the same thing only to f*** something up beyond repair. I am the kind of person that needs to call an electrician to change a light bulb basically.

Absolutely terrible. I spent all night last night opening the rest of my packs. Did all 150 of the TOTY crafting upgrades. Did about 200 La Liiga upgrades. Musta been 500 packs. Not even a HM. 1,000 dupes. Couldn't even pack a double walkout in the 83x20. An absolute nightmare. Watched a few marathon streams too. Nothing. Only good thing is I got Davies and Eusebio done, barely, and I have about 900k in coins and about 60 tradeable 83s and 84s in my transfer list if those ever become in demand again. I have no golds above 84 in my club.

Hopefully the pack weight goes up on 85+ now that we have a weak promo again so I can get Saliba done in 12 days. Was hoping I could squeeze out Maldini but EA had other ideas. Might take WL off. I got my ass kicked in the Cup last night too.

Damn… that’s painful. At least you’re pretty much set on ST, RB, and LB for the foreseeable future, unless you get some insane icon or something, but that’s a lot of time and effort wasted… especially when they didn’t even give us any decent upgrade SBCs to use 84s or 83s. I used a ton on the TOTW SBC but still.

And yeah, I don’t know what’s up but I’m getting slammed too. When attacking it feels like the opponents box has 8 people, in transition I have nobody open and can’t dribble anywhere, and when defending it feels like I’m always chasing and there’s massive holes everywhere. I don’t know if it’s that all the biggest sweats are playing more because it was TOTY time, if it was just that people had insane teams suddenly (feels like every single opponent had at least one TOTY and now more than half have Messi), or if I’m not just paranoid and the AI is actually f***ing me over. I still need one win for the 10 cup wins, but I don’t know if it’s even worth it.

A quick warning though: I heard from two different people that during the yearly RTTF promo (that started today) the pack weight is usually at its worst, so don’t expect anything good for a bit. I think I’m just going to hoard fodder and packs for a bit.

Yeah now that I think about it..after what @JojoTheWhale said...I changed out the existing drive which was just as easy...I am pretty sure you can do it

I know I keep saying this but this game is absolutely rigged.

Won that last cup game, then I played the next four games with the intention of giving free wins to non-rats… and I swear I’ve never had an easier games in any cup playlist. I actually got kicked from the game for scoring too many own goals just trying to get the guy tied again.

Then I play some WL today, start off 4-2, lost three straight games by a score of 1-2 when I had high double digit shots and hit multiple posts each game, then ended the day at 5-5.

Also yeah, everything felt so heavy and delayed today. Dribbling with Sawa felt like VVD.

Yeah they seemed bad from what I saw.

Nah. I don’t have any golds above 84 lol. I can’t even do the upgrade packs. 85-90s are basically extinct since ea killed the pack weight.

Yeah, there’s no way I can do it again when it refreshes unless I use 88-90s, which would be pretty dumb. I swear decent fodder is 100x more rare this year than last. At least your team is already f***ing stacked.

Those prices make no sense. His Thunderstruck card was live, got upgraded, and was still fodder price. I think those cards are just so rare that’s why they are expensive. Roma has the fourth best odds to win but they’ll likely have to go through one of Liverpool, Leverkusen, or Milan.
