Someone on Twitter mentioned they got 4-5 hours out of full and high fidelity games with Lies of P and CP2077 on the new Deck. That's impressive.
Yeah, they're a more narrow use case for sure, but they do have uses like this. My wife travels back to Western Canada often, so it happens to fit her needs. She takes some sensible steps like not jacking the brightness up and she said she gets 4+ hours with everything she's ever played.
Admittedly I'm a huge fan of Valve's hardware because it's usually open source and the components aren't cheap crap. GN is openly soliciting side by side battery testing use cases, so I'm excited to see what they end up saying. The changes to the PCB make actual sense. These revisions weren't done to cut a few bucks.
