Might also revisit CP2077 once Phantom Liberty releases. I finished the base game when the 1.5 update was released, I think. It was very stable, fun mission design and interesting story, but still felt like a sterile world. Apparently Phantom Liberty overhauls basically everything, including skill and perk trees.

I got Cyberpunk 2077 on sale a few weeks ago and I’m waiting until the DLC comes out (along with all of the updates) yo play it for the first time. Seems like these updates are a major overhaul..which is good because that game was riddled with bugs and glitches at release.

I tried playing cyberpunk but got lost in its terms early on and bailed.
I need a cheat sheet or something, like tech = mana, hacking = lockpicking. The magic stuff confused the hell out of me.

My examples are just random words and in now way indicative of what it may really be.

There are walkthroughs at every big (& small) gaming site you goof lol

you owe it to yourselves to play BG3..amazing game

I am gonna start over Cyberpunk with a new run with the DLC since everything is essentially changing

Starfield can't come soon enough..will be playing when I get home on Thursday...they kept it at 30 FPS due to how massive it is

Hacking is hacking..think of it more as the magic you can do..and you can do like everything..kill people with it..get into computers and stuff...tech is a bit more like the lock-picking aspect as if a door has a tech of 7 and you have 7 points there you can get past the door

you should rectify that

An Xbox Series X would be cheaper than a PC or Laptop.

Main conundrum here is this: I don’t really have anywhere to set up any of these things because I’ve got my PS4 and PS5 set up with my TV. My work from home “office” in my bedroom takes up all of the desk space for my monitors and Thin Client. Only potential viable option “may” be a gaming Laptop that I could put on my work/office desk after work hours/on the weekend or whatever.

I’ve got about 15 hours so far and I’m really enjoying it. It takes a little while to get going, and it doesn’t explain a lot of things very well, but once it picks up it is a hell of a lot of fun. My first night playing I had a pretty limited time, so I just did the opening, and visited the four main cities.

By that point I already had around a dozen quests. I still haven’t touched any of them because I wanted to knock out some of the main quest. I only did a couple of those before I got distracted by a whole other faction side quest, and I still haven’t finished that because I decided to survey all the planets in a random solar system just to see if I found anything fun. I’ve also spent a fair amount of time tinkering with the ship builder, which is a blast. And there are entire mechanics Ive barely even interacted with so far like the outpost building and all of the crafting you can do (weapons, spacesuits, food).

I’m admittedly a Bethesda fanboy, and while the game has some issues (the map being my biggest complaint), I’m going to be playing this one for decades to come.

It can play some old school cartridge games in HD. So it can play GB and GBC games.
I always thought the issue with those games were the battery in the cartridge dying and not the console being an issue.
How HD can you make gameboy sprites?

Is it Skyrim in space or something else?

If you do a quick Youtube you can probably get a decent look and come to your own conclusions. I don't think I can really put it in words. It just kind of looks better? But it's a nostalgia bait for sure. And really expensive. I remember when it was first announced it sold out super fast and you were put on a waitlist if you couldn't get one.

Closer to Fallout than Skyrim, but yeah, the same basic concept. If you've played a Bethesda game, Starfield will be familiar.
Downloading now. It’s not like I haven’t liked a Bethesda game, fallout 76 excluded. I did try 76 a few years after launch and it seemed alright, but it was a free weekend and I played it half assed and solo.
