What’s your favorite Bloodborne, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, and Elden Ring classes?
Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring are simple, find the biggest sword around, level up my health enough to tank hits, and smack the bad guys with the sword. That being said, on my one Elden Ring character I made a very fun bleed build to beat a certain boss who will remain nameless so I don't spoil anything for you.

Dark Souls 2 I used a very Miracle heavy build that got absolutely nerfed into the dirt, and I never really gave another build a go.

Dark Souls 1 I actually never finished, but what I played, I leveled my stats similarly to DS3 and ER. Big sword, lots of health because I suck at dodging.

Bloodborne is a bit of a different beast (hah!), as there are only six attributes to level up. I'd recommend reading this reddit post that does a better job of explaining it than I ever could:

How often should I be resting?
I’ve short rested twice, but have not long rested yet. I’ve
I’ve run the lich dungeon, the bandit dungeon that’s tied to the lich, and fought the goblins at the gate of this little camp thing
so far.

i long rest a lot...like..a lot..way more than i short rest...from what I read there doesn't seem to be a huge issue save early on when something or someone can die that you do not want to if you long rest too much early

Long saves don’t push the story along? I thought I read that while trying to see some basic tips on the game.

long rests dont seem to do much in terms of story save letting you get hp and spells back and the occasional conversation with a party member..some of which are quite interesting background story-wise

Played Warframe for many, many years. 900+ hours into it. But yeah, I heard the server shit is bad and wow, their cash shop, if they didn't fix it, is extremely predatory. I have heard it's fun as hell though to play.
Yep! I’m pretty sure we are steam friends (I’m Recon) and I think I remmeber seeing you had those hours when I went through my Warframe stage 6 months ago and I was seeing you had played it haha.

Yea the cash shop is abit much. It’s similar to warframe though where you are buying the parts for the heroes or skins. BUT you can also play to unlock the heroes too. I haven’t gotten far enough to know if it is doable unlocking them though (as in not an insane amount of grinding).

The official release is in 6 months. If they can stabilize the server while smoothing out what they have in place already, it will have a pretty good following.

Apparently, they will be fixing up the cash shop to make it less predatory to even where they will refund people some points.

So basically the issue is, there are a lot of items that are just ever so slightly more expensive than one of the tiers of purchase options for premium currency, basically make you either pay for it twice or getting the more expensive option above it to pay for it. It will now be just slightly cheaper (the object) than the premium currency tier. Hasn't been put in yet, but yeah, it's being fixed.

I can tell you though that a real good friend of mine has almost 4000 hours in Warframe haha.

Longshot here but is anyone “PooFlinger” or something close to that on steam? They are the only person on my friends list that’s online, ever.
@Striiker that seems like kid humor, that’s you isn’t it?

I’d never be amused by something so juvenile…

Too mature for that.

Unrelated but I’m in the mood for chicken tendies and potato smiles.

Turns out the FC24 Beta blocks your Xbox from saving clips.

Scored a B A N G E R and was so disappointed to be unable to capture it.

This guy gets it. The first music cassette tape I ever had was me recording songs off MTV and VH1 with an old tape recorder my dad had. Hold the mic up to the TV and bam. Quality was actually pretty good:laugh:
When I first got into music as a youngster I got a Walkman (which was the shit at the time) and had to record songs off of FM radio as they played through the boom box. What a time to be alive.

Has anyone tried Ghostrunner?

This is by far the fastest and most frantic FPS I’ve ever played. It’s completely insane

Biggest reveal at TennoCon has to be Soulframe. Seems like it won’t mess with Warframe lore which will attract new players.

Has Elden Ring / Ghost of Tsushima vibes

Excited for Starfield next week. Not sure if I'll start that or BG3 first.

Might also revisit CP2077 once Phantom Liberty releases. I finished the base game when the 1.5 update was released, I think. It was very stable, fun mission design and interesting story, but still felt like a sterile world. Apparently Phantom Liberty overhauls basically everything, including skill and perk trees.

I'm interested in Starfield. However, I think I saw that it's 30 FPS on Xbox, which seems like a joke. The lighting also seems f***ed. I'll wait to get more feedback

I heard it’s 30 FPS too. Which is genuinely poor for major studio game these days.
