YUUUUP THATS HALF MY GOALS AGAINST

The game that broke me was where I lost 3-4 and 3 of his goals were VVD headers off corner kicks. I don’t have anyone tall enough to stop him so it was literally just corner after corner after corner until my goalie missed and it went in. He would just do powershots from outside the box to make my goalie deflect it out.

His only other goal was a free kick by Dead Ball+ POTM Palmer.

I sent him a message.

They gave no one Aerial+ because of how broken it is so that makes VVD that much more valuable this year. I haven’t packed him yet and refuse to pay that much for a good card.

I think I got every fodder thunderstruck card. None of the good ones other than that Chelsea winger who I wouldn’t be able to chem if I wanted to. I was tempted to buy some fifa points but the pack weight is so bad. I spent like 900k coins on player picks and a couple packs.

Started playing Black Myth: Wukong recently. Might be the fastest-paced combat in any game I’ve ever played. So intense, so awesome. Adrenaline rush go boom.

I’m not sure why gaming sites, gamers, and journalists are categorizing it as a soulslike. You don’t lose any resources if your character dies, you can respec anytime you want, etc. There are over 100 bosses and I’d only categorize “maybe” a couple bosses so far as being on a difficulty-level of a soulslike. The rest of em? Just standard action RPG fare.

Picked up Star Wars Outlaws for PS5 on Black Friday sale for $40. Enjoying it so far. Lots of stealth and problem solving mixed with some planet-hopping and space battles.

It’s just due to it having been a popular and successful franchise inside an already overflowing genre. Sort of like saying a game is ninja gaiden or battletoads hard, or it’s a metroidvania. The latter two examples are not misused nearly as much as souls like is.
Rouge like is another over abused adjective. Just because you respawn after you die doesn’t make it a rogue like game.

i played and beat it via ubisoft + ...enjoyed the game for what it was

The videos that emerged pre release and just barely post release did it no favors with the graphics and enemy AI, and the amount of damage the player could take.
That did the annoying as hell character narrating what they saw as well didn’t it?

Nah. I'm probably only going to get 3 tokens a week. I think I'm going to stay away from the players with the exception of (maybe) Raspadori, but even he might be out of the power curve by the time I have the tokens for him.

I'll probably just end up taking the fodder packs. These damn SBCs are so expensive.

I realized I needed to play Rivals to get the swap tokens so I played to get to Div 3 (for 2 of them, instead of 1) and I kept running into teams with promo Mbappe, Vini, VVD, and like 4 Icons. Took me 3 promotion games to escape the pit

He’s good. He’s fast but sometimes the game decides that 79 pace VVD is Usain Bolt so it’s irrelevant sometimes.

I packed Frimpong RTTK today. Don’t think I can link him though.

Not to be ungrateful and bitch about incredible luck but it’s the same with Mbappe. He’s really good and his shooting is nuts, but the guy feels slow and gets caught constantly. Feels like 90 pace, not 99.

You and these Frimpong cards. So jealous. Although, I did just get TOTW Theo, who I was shocked to learn is about 700k.

Went back to Tele Broadcast last night and went undefeated in Rivals to get to div 3. Tackles from behind are still crazy but at least my guys attempt to come back insides now.
