I think they will. When healthy, Habs can roll with this... Mete would benefit from playing against the best 19 and 18 year olds in the world IMO.

No rumblings if the Habs will loan him or not? I know they have till the 19th. For me I just want Jerabek to in the lineup every night to see what he can do. I think Benn needs to be on the bottom pairing so either Jerabek, Schlemko or Mete need to be with Weber.

perhaps but they need to focus on winning now, so they should be icing the best lineup they can not worry about getting Mete games in favor of Jerabek imo. Unless he's injured, Jerabek should be in the lineup every game until he shows he shouldn't.

Mete has shown he can play in the NHL, but ya, he's currently our 4th best LD and it's best for his development to dominate against guys his age as opposed to merely survive in the NHL.

Excited to see him and Poehling at the WJC. Said it since draft day, these 2 are our top prospects by quite a fair margin IMO.

10 games is burning 1 year of ELC
40 games is burning 1 year of free agency


Decision day closes in for 10 on entry-level contracts

For those players that make it past the 10-game mark, a second deadline for player and team looms. If a player on an entry-level contract remains with the club for 40 games this season, the player moves one year closer to free agency. If he is sent down between the 10th and 40th game, the free agency clock does not start.

I'm happy Habs sent him to the WJC. This also opens up a spot for Jerabek to be in the line-up game in and game out. I think he needs to get some looks next to Weber.
