Their absolute one season peaks might not be that far apart, but it's still comfortably Lidström. And he was also very close to his peak for like 37 years.@JoVel
@LightningStrikes
I am/was comparing them at their peak level, both are Stanley Cup, James Norris Trophy and Conn Smyth Trophy winners. For this I don't care about the number of trophies in a historical point of view.
My comparison is truly relevant but peoples views are different, that's life.
33 points in 31 games. His single season best is 73 points. Would be nice if he could beat that this season.

Hedman briefly passes Kucherov for 4th most points in Franchise history
He still have some goals left to catch Cale Makar this season.
Bogo’s shot is so hard he even injures himself while shooting.He just doesn't have the insanely quick release like Stamkos, which can make it seem like a guy shoots harder than he does.
And then there's Bogosian. I don't even know what it is about that guy's slapper that makes me feel fear in my guts for the guys in front of the net.

I think Hedman figured out how you have to shoot to win that contest, because before I don't think he broke 100mph.
I sometimes wonder if the guy doesn't just shoot wide on purpose almost every time and doesn't care for slap shots and even after all these years none of us really have a clue what he's capable of. I'm gonna have a hard time believing this little slice of Lightning history wasn't Hedman planning the play. I guess he thinks "Why crank it when I can do this?"
But of course I've been wrong before
That PBP voice souds familiar...
