Skinner a mighty .765 SV% in the most important game of the year. Woodcroft has to be fired for playing this bum start after start.

Check my post history. I said early in the LA series Skinner has the be benched and shot to the moon. I said something has to be done before its too late. No. Nothing was done. Now the Oil are golfing. Back breaking, deflating failure after failure. The fans who defended this bum should be ashamed. Everyone who called me out should join Skinner in that one way trip to outer space. NHL isn't for you.

Next time Edmonton has all the momentum - I hope they stick to business - and not antics (not excusing any Vegas penalty) but they were derailed by it.

I think that the Oilers biggest issue was that Kane+Yamamoto+Foegele combined for 12 points in 12 games. That's 11 mils and 2 top 6 players.

I think this was the last Oilers game by Yamamoto, and probably Foegele.
Foegele should net a good return if traded away.. he had great playoffs . Yama is nothing but cap dump ..

well let me try this again, hopefully this wont get deleted, i removed the profanity the filter didnt get.

Imagine selling your team and organization's soul to sign a guy like Evander Kane. You know his history and why the league allowed him to be bought out, and yet you still sign him. He only puts up 4 points in 2 rounds and becomes a non-issue, except for swearing on TV about "####ing around and finding out" (which was actually just him throwing punches at a defenseless and prone player). The team, from top to bottom, is a crass and classless organization. Management tells fans who can't afford to attend that they're tier 2. They employ unlikable jerks, and when things don't go their way, fans pelt the ice with garbage. Tonight, cosmic justice visited that eyesore of an arena. This team is as if truck nuts morphed in to a hockey organization. It's so refreshing that they're done for the year, and a reminder that sometimes, the A-holes in life get what they deserve.

Woodcroft is a one trick wax pony. Slightest hint of adversity and he clenches cheeks and double shifts McDrai.

Loser mentality inherited from his old boss.
How is that a bad strategy? Oilers looked great in 3rd with McDrai united.

Look at the team Crosby and Malkin won with in 2009. Look at the 2006 Canes. 2019 Blues. McDavid and Draisaitl care about points, not having their team ready to win and give their all.
They were much deeper than the Oilers are today. Take McDrai away and this team is in the Bedard race, while most of the named teams still would have comfortably made the playoffs.
