Congrats Vegas, you clearly were the best team in the playoffs.
However I have to admit, Vegas winning (among other things) has made the league unwatchable for me. Glad the season is over, won’t be watching the next season.

Las Vegas deserves this, I'm so happy for everyone that had to deal with all the years of people pissing on the idea of a major league team in Las Vegas for decades.

Marchessault winning the Conn Smythe while scoring 4 goals in 5 games against Florida, with Reilly Smith also putting up 14 points in 22 playoff games (would have been 5th in scoring for Florida) really twists that dagger for how poorly Florida handled the expansion draft.

Glad to see a really bold team win the Cup. Hopefully this encourages more blockbuster trades.

Aside from their incredible on ice performance these playoffs, their performance since franchise existence has been impressive capped off by a cup in year six.

Congrats Vegas. It really is a crazy effort to build that team in such a short period of time. So many of that team were bit-part players in other teams but become important in this system.

Can't even really feel cynical about it. Not only has the team gone all in over the years since their inception, so have the fans. Few cities have been as excited for hockey over the past few years than Vegas. Great ending to a story that started in the cup final five years ago.
