Earned it.

It's quite a thing to imagine, sitting there in the 2nd period knowing with near-certainty that the rest of the game is just a countdown to the Cup. These guys are pros and I'm sure the coaches keep them focused to the best of their ability, but as a human being how could you not be sitting there just soaking it in when you would normally be all dialed up about your next shift?

Big-time publicity for the sport will be happening on the strip.

The Knights usually spend second periods re-gripping their clubs, at least until the beer guy comes by again.

Ok. So Vegas management took advantage of the expansion draft brilliantly and loaded their franchise with value.

They were hot out of the gate, and made some shrewd moves to land elite talent like Eichel, Stone, and Pietrangelo.

They got a fantastic coach who built a great system. All the players bought in and worked extremely hard. Fighting over 82 games to win the western conference.

Then they basically steamrolled everyone in the playoffs and humiliated the Panthers in the finals.

There's only one real question here. Do they deserve it?
