I cant speak for his wrist but I dislocated mine and tore the TFCC 10 years ago. My wrist has never been very mobile since. Cant imagine playing hockey with a wonky wrist

I did it for a season and it was just awful. Either you tape up your wrist so much that it feels like you can’t stickhandle or you deal with the sharp pain on every shot or pass. Super distracting either way.
