Love the fact that he can move the puck in transition at an elite level.

His defensive numbers this year have absolutely cratered. If he can bounce back, he can be a good #3.

Don't like this though, feel like that 1st could've been put to better use with a different defenseman.

Can he though? I haven't watched a ton of the Penguins but the main complaint about Petterson is that's bad at moving the puck. Not sure what to make of this trade but a top 4 LD was obviously needed and I guess he was one of the few available. I'll reserve judgement until I watch him as a Canuck. O'Connor is an underrated pickup here who may end up being the most valuable piece imo.

This is slightly better than it looks on the surface because they dump 4.25M in absolute wastes for 2 years (that management signed themselves)

Must not be the same Pettersson lmao, because it's something he's absolutely very good at doing.

Defensive metrics used to be better, but gotta wonder how much of that has to do with the team he's on.
