so basically we moved JT Milller for Chytil and 1st and moved the 1st for Marcus Pettersson. Sprinkle some b/c level prospects in there.

What took so long?

Chytil I'm not very high on, not even sure if hes an asset that moves the needle.

Marcus Pettersson on the other hand fits this team, and many teams like a glove.

Big rangy, very good defensively, active stick, physical, will fight anyone, and last season showed some offense - was approaching Mattias Ekholm lite territory. He should really help the defense.

Don't like the full deal and combination of the two tonight all things considered, they look pretty desperate, and once again, they're paying a price to unload poor off season signings. Hoping for the best, obviously, but even if they extend Pettersson, it's not sitting right.

Zadarov is a 4/5 D.

Pettersson is a #3D and a legit top-4 guy who can hold own his own pairing.

This is another win now trade for a team that is barely staying in a wildcard race.

I think this actually could create a viable second pairing with Petterson and Hronek, just need a solid RD (other than Myers lol) for the 1st pairing. I really like the O'Connor acquisition.
