Just looking at value and what they bring, the Raps could line up something like:

Poetl
Siakim
OG
Scottie
FVV

Koloko
Boucher
Porter Jr
Dick
Flynn

Achiuwa
Wieskamp
Harper Jr
Banton/Barton
Dowtin Jr

Nowell
new 2 way deal
You’re guessing Thads option isn’t picked up sin favor of Poetl and FVV? That’s my guess too.
What’s your take on Achiuwa v. Boucher?

well that's a very intriguing pick for sure. I really like it.

You know it's funny i know that dance video's main intent is for a laugh, but the biggest takeaway i got was that this kid has some serious athleticism. The way he moves for a tall guy is very impressive. I don't know how many NBA players can do a backflip, but my guess is not many. Plus his overall personality seems very likeable. you can tell his teammates get along with him.

Add that he's a lights out shooter and has good handles? Sign me up. He might go down as a steal for the raptors.

I don't like the fit at all on this roster. Dick is a great shooter, can do a little in other areas, great cutter, mediocre defender. At SF, how is he going to get enough minutes on this team? I'd prefer a guard here or swing for upside on Cam Whitmore (but maybe he has poor intangibles).

There is enough evidence now after so many years that this front office is 100% passive in their trade approach. Another draft day with no trades? While so many other teams are making moves again? That says they're not even trying realistically to make moves.

Boucher is a better player now. Achiuwa still has more potential. Both should be in a 12 man rotation and if the coaching staff develops players the way we hope, we should be in a position where Koloko and Achiuwa are actively taking minutes away from Poetl and Siakim because they deserve them.

By the same token, a lot of fans are quick to write Flynn off, but he's 25 and if we can develop him, he could still become a useful point guard (friendly reminder that Flynn is the same age that Fred was when Toronto signed him).

In a better and healthier development model, there will be guys that still don't develop, but undrafted free agents and reclamation projects could eventually lead to starters from practically nothing.

He can 100% play SG though. Kevin Huerter was tossed around as a comp and I think that makes sense. He’ll get playing time just because he has NBA range and becomes one of the Raps few legit 3pt threats. Cam’s a big iso guy and doesn’t really fit this team like GD.

For me, you don't pick a situational player at #13. Huerter is more in that mold vs GOOD teams, where the warts show up more clearly. At that spot, I'm still going upside. Drafting for need isn't wise, trade for need instead.

Cam’s got a much lower floor though due to lack of BBIQ. Situationally speaking GD is an obvious fit, but it’s also not like the Raps reached (if anything he fell to them). Idk, Cam’s a good project but I can easily see him not having much of an impact at the NBA level.

Whitmore has two flaws. 1) He doesn't practice hard and 2) His medicals are a mess

Whitmore's work effort didn't appear to be an issue from what I saw. I don't know the medical details to comment, and neither does anyone in the public. I suspect the medical was an excuse for poor workouts/interview maybe. But one thing is certain, he can create his own shot in the half court. That is something missing on this roster, and they didn't address yet again because they don't think its important.

We are changing the type of offense we run, which will hopefully help with that.

Nurse ran a half-court offense that was essentially create your own everything (dribble penetrate and kick or create a favorable iso. The new coach is going to actually run plays that should help with shot creation, using things like cutting and pick and roll as regular parts of the offense.

We still could have issues, but this different offense should maximize the pieces we have as opposed to hoping that we can acquire pieces that fit the offense.

That style, with multiple screens, requires sacrifice, teamwork. That means any player with selfish tendencies has to be removed or it won't work.

Major $ are on the line in NBA, this style is better with guys on 1st or 2nd contracts.

Our first unit wasn't terrible at running Nurse's offense. Our second unit couldn't run it to save their lives.

The change in offense is a combination of taking advantage of Scottie's youth on the first unit and actually having a non-albatross second unit. I think we'll see more of the coaching with the younger players (and more of the same with the 5 older guys)

Raps have shot creators, but they run into the same issue that Whitmore would if he were on the team (no spacing). I know GD reads as "safe" because he's being comped to complimentary players (although Reggie and Klay get thrown out there too), but having a legit jumper and BBIQ at his size are great tools to guarantee success.

If dick isn't wearing 69 next year everyone should be fired

Also Nowell is a stud very excited about him

The NBA actively forbids players from wearing 69. Dennis Rodman tried to do it way back when he went to the Mavericks at the very tail end of his career. The story goes that they got a few jerseys printed up and took some promo photos with him in one before the league stepped in and said they were vetoing the use of the number. So he ended up wearing #70 for the dozen or so games he played in Dallas. Apparently Mark Cuban kept one of those disallowed 69 jerseys and has it in his office though

I will say about Dick that I do like that the Raptors are finally recognizing that you can't just draft players and expect to teach them to shoot. Some guys you can, but the history of the NBA draft is littered with prospects who are great at a bunch of other things but were godawful shooters coming out of college/high school and evaluators were all like "well we can just build a new jumper for him and everything will be fine." and it rarely ever works.
