I really hope the Raptors keep Scottie but... If Durant is sold on the idea of coming here and it doesn't gut the rest of the team... As a Raptors fan you know they are going all in for the next couple seasons.

If I was GM I move almost.. Almost anyone else besides Barnes. That may not be an option, it as least an exciting off season. Always the possibility we end up with another star not named Durant or Ayton. We do have tremendous flexibility with our contracts and picks.

That's a pretty damn good list, I don't think we have anything to worry about in trading Scottie, we know what we have in him. Plus he has fully embraced the City and the team, he plays our style of basketball, nope he's not going anywhere.

I fully expect him to hit Lowry level of love in this city when its all said and done one day.

Probably weren’t winning the title with JV instead of Gasol, to be honest with you.
Prolly right, but when he was drafted I really hoped the Raps we’re gonna reinvent the wheel abit.
Seems he was underutilized here, but I might be biased liking that kinda play.

That Pistons team won with smothering defense and physicality. They could score enough, but you were getting beaten pillar to post, and every step was contested.

It’s a formula I think the Raps can mimic, but they need a bulldozer down low like Ben Wallace to wreck people in the paint
Unfortunately you can’t play that style of basketball anymore. Everyone would foul out 3 minutes into the game, or slip on Lebrons tears

The thing about Scottie is that not only is Scottie for KD unacceptable to some, but we'd have to add OG AND Trent Jr for money (aka gut the team)

FVV + OG + Koloko + 3 1sts + 2 swaps

Barnes/Trent/KD/Siakam/Achiuwa can make a run at it.

If the Nets do not do that….walk away.

I loved that team. I’m a 20 minute drive from Detroit, so ai grew up with them, pre-Raptors. They were fun to watch (for the era). Closest thing to the Bad Boys since the original
