The episode itself was a good listen to for any raps fan. Had a good bit on Vince's ROY video to Scottie, he really put thought into it.
Steve Nash shouldn't be a coachWow I would say that was a bombshell comment from KD. “It’s me or them” referring to the GM and coach being fired. Yikes. What’s up with that. He really has a hate on for Nash??? What did he ever do to KD. I didn’t know he was like that. I know these players have gigantic egos BUT I thought he had some class.
That's right cause KD is now GM and Coach!Steve Nash shouldn't be a coach
Steve Nash shouldn't be a coach
You still want Durant after all this?Maybe pitch a culture change trade to the Nets plus flexibility for a Durant trade
VV (locker room leader, heart and soul fan favorite, All Star)
GTJ (solid piece)
Ben Simmons
Don't have no clue about the Byzantine NBA trade rules though
I'll still take him for sure with no Barnes or even Siakam includedYou still want Durant after all this?
He definitely wouldn't be able to pull this childish crap with Masai. I think, when you work so hard to create a culture in your team, bringing in KD would be counterproductive.I'll still take him for sure with no Barnes or even Siakam included
It's risky but this one really tests your culture. I would do it depending on the tradeHe definitely wouldn't be able to pull this childish crap with Masai. I think, when you work so hard to create a culture in your team, bringing in KD would be counterproductive.
Sorry for the confusion no don't want KD at their price, picking up Simmons at a price that the Nets (I guess) wouldn't find insulting, could sell to the fans as real culture change and would also give them more flexibility for a Durant trade somewhere else. You still want Durant after all this?
There's some info you are missing about Bill Russell that puts him in another stratosphere as a human being than anything the "Great One" has ever done, google it. Also 11 ChampionshipsCan someone ELI5 why the NBA is retiring Bill Russell's number league wide?
He isn't considered to be the best player ever and this seems arbitrary to force teams on whom he had little to no impact to have to retire his jersey. I am not arguing that he should not be celebrated league-wide, I am just confused about the decision that the number 6 can never be worn as a tribute to Bill Russell, for example.
I get that he is arguably the first non-white superstar in NBA history (and that he deserves all the tributes in the world), but retiring a jersey number across the league should be something that is reserved for someone whose impact is so universal that you cannot mention the sport without mentioning that player.
There are two other jerseys retired in the big 4.
Jackie Robinson broke baseball's color barrier (Russell broke it for coaching, albeit as a player at the time, but wasn't the first player) and was a hall of famer as the first black players (despite only being able to start his career at 28 for non ability-related reasons).
Wayne Gretzky has his retired because he is statistically the best player in the big 4 compared to his peers ever. Gretzky is roughly the equivalent to someone averaging 36 points a game for 20 years.
Easy yes for meI’d do that deal. The 4 1sts will be bottom 10. Young is a throw in, OG and Trent for Durant you do all day
For the next 4 years you would be looking at a 55-60 win team
