I would think about this if he is available.

adding lillard and subtracting lowry doesnt make this team much better imo, hes a better scoring option but lowry does alot of things better than dame. dame is also 30 so you realistically have a 4ish year window with him and siakam to contend, i think you would need to pair lillard with another star for us to be any type of threat imo. i prefer to do a retool that takes a few years and come back with young affordable players we can mold into our system and stretch our window of true contention.

Unfortunately we have little say in the matter, I am sure we would be just as happy to draft Mobley as we would Green or Suggs. Its just a matter of who the unpicked player is of the big 4.
i hear you, just posting my opinion, much like everyone haha.
if we didnt have stuff like this to talk about there wouldnt be much activity here.

I originally said I wouldn't do Wiggins + 7 for Siakam because I don't like Wiggins that much and the 7 would likely be another wing on a team that's loaded with wing guys. But if Wiseman was part of the package that changes things for me. The 14 would be gravy too.

Consider:
Trade Siakam + some low-end lottery ticket piece (Paul Watson?) + a 2nd for Wiggins, Wiseman, 7, 14.

Re-sign Trent for a 4+ years (length is irrelevant)
Draft Green/Suggs/Mobely at 4
I suspect Barnes and Kuminga go 5, 6. Take Keon Johnson at 7
Take Josh Giddey at 14
*address the Lowry situation depending on who the team gets at 4. If they get Suggs then Sign & Trade Lowry at the draft, hoping to pick up either a solid 2nd tier prospect and/or a mid/late 1st that the other team picks and completes the trade on later (think the Vasquez/Powell deal). If they get Mobley or green, re-sign Lowry for 2 years and explore trading him to a contender at the deadline or next off-season for a bigger haul.

The big issue becomes finding minutes for all the kids, but that's a great problem to have.

Anyone read the rumour on the athletic that the Warriors will try to use 7th + Wiseman for a win now player and Pascal Siakam is the guy they might target?
Would have to have Wiggins in the deal to match salaries. You’re probably looking at
Wiggins Wiseman 7 14
Pascal 46 47
Which I do in a heart beat. Going into the offseason you have
FVV Suggs/green Wiggins OG wiseman
With GTJ Boucher Malachi 7 14 MLE and Kyle S&T to fill out the roster.

Pretty much depends on if Webster and Masai still believe Siakam can be a viable #1/#2 option for us and worth the max deal.

Siakam looked his best behind Lowry and Kawhi as options.

i think he can be(or is) a solid #2, but hes never shown any signs to me of being a player that can score in iso in crunch time when the whole world knows the ball is coming to you. i think they signed him to that deal hoping to bring in a prized FA this offseason. unfortunately, the giannis plan backfired and we would need a true star player to compete within siakams window imo. i truly think we are better off trading him and doing a soft reboot with OG and this years number #4 being more of the foundation. keep VV as the next lowry type vet and readjust the window. thats the plan i would be looking at anyways.
the east isnt a joke anymore where you only had lebron to go through, you need to have a better team then what we had pre kawhi to compete in the postseason now in our conference.

7, 14 and Wiseman is super interesting just based on this team's ability to draft and develop young talent. I don't know much about Wisemen so I won't comment on if they should do it but I would need 14th overall just to take the Wiggins contract. So then it's Wisemen + 7th overall for Siakam. If Massai pulled the trigger on that it's because he feels he can turn these picks into something so I'd be happy about it.

Wiseman and 7 for Siakam sounds almost too good to be true. With the pluses it takes to smooth out the rough edges.
C is the scarcest and rarest position to fill….no? And Wiseman projects pretty well.
Heck, pressure is probably off Wiggins on this roster too, and Nurse has a good history developing and maximizing swings. And a Canuck?

if we take suggs, i would really like to trade into the lottery to try and pick up sengun. he think hes worth the risk if we dont land mobley.

Wiseman is trash. Wiggins isnt much. Its really just Siakam for the 7th overall pick.

Wiseman is going to be a pretty good big man, and will likely develop sone range. Considering he barely played the year before going straight into the NBA.. I think he has huge upside. I really doubt Golden State looks to move him.

Curry is 33, and Klay and Draymond are 31- Klay has major injury issues.

Their window with these guys is closing fast.

It would make sense to move Wiseman to try to win now - if you have a player like Steph Curry at 33, you should be trying to win now every year.

There's a rumour floating around that Detroit isn't sold on Cunningham. If that's the case, what could we offer to Houston or Cleveland if he's still available at 2 or 3? 4 and...what? And is he worth whatever we had to give up, over any of the other 3 (Suggs, Green, Mobley)?
